Towel BazaarSoft & Absorbent Premium Cotton Turkish Towels (Wedgewood, 4-Piece Bath Towels)

These towels are great - VERY thick and heavy, and wash up nicely. My only issue, without trying to sound petty, is that they are NOT 40 inches wide. More like 38. And my only issue with that, is that I was buying them to use on a couple of leather recliner chairs in the summer time, and needed something wider than what most towels like this are made. They do fit my chairs and will work, but if sizing is something important to you, just know the listed size is incorrect.

These are about the same as you get in a department store, though they are bigger, which I like. I've got some towels from Macy's Hotel Collection which I was hoping to improve on. The Macy's are nicer, though smaller. They are similar except for the size though I'd give the "thick and fluffy" edge to those from Macy's.I must say I am a bit disappointed, because the effusive reviews had me expecting better. I thought they'd be incredibly thick, soft and fluffy. There are better, and Martouk's Neiman and Lotus collection, and Restoration Hardware's 802 gram Turkish collection, are examples, though they are also considerably more expensive. The value proposition of these is decent.All in all, I wish I had bought something else, though it seems every Amazon seller is very adept at managing its reviews and everyone's frame of reference is different. I hope this provides some helpful guidance.

This towel is MASSIVE (definitely worth the $$) and is a little on the heavy side for me being a petite person (would obv be perfect for a non-petite person LoL) but loved wrapping myself up in it. I am definitely glad I listened to the instructions and washed the towels first as there was a TON of lint (see pic attached). I also bought 2 slightly smaller bath towels and absolutely LOVE how super SOFT those are! This is the real deal!

I recommend these towels without reservation. Bought three of them so far, and will likely get another. Here’s my comparison: I bought some 35x75 made in India from overstock—they shed lint like crazy and have lost some heft and absorbency after half a dozen washings.These Turkish ones shed normally, then stop, and do not lose heft. BTW, they are heavy. They are soft after one washing.Highly recommend!!

I spent forever reading reviews, trying to find the right towel. This is giant, thick and heavy. It didn’t pill or leave behind a lot of lint after I washed and dried it. I’m ver happy with it. I’m a big girl, and I wanted something to really cover up with when I swim, this is almost like a blanket. Love it.

Towel is heavy and well made. I washed it alone and recorded the amount of lint from first wash. see photo. Moderate for first wash. then I spread it out on my 3/4 bed. [okay, I know I have a PINK room. no comments] towel is nice size. It is a little heavier than the one I own. my first impression is that it is exactly what I wanted

This towel is so nice! It's large enough to easily wrap around a plus size adult male. It doesn't shed at all & washes and dries very well.

I love these. I have 3 of them, two cream and one green. I really like the green only they didn’t have any last time I ordered. They’re huge, soft, very absorbent, and they hold up quite well. I’ve been using mine daily for well over a year and it’s still in great shape. They’re not as soft as I had hoped. They were more so when they were new, but they kinda lose that fluffiness over time. The reason I love these is, I’m a big guy, and these towels are big enough that I can wrap myself up in them and cover most of my body and they don’t fall off. Also, they just work great for drying off. My daughter loves them too. If you’re a woman who likes to wrap a towel around yourself and want one that can cover everything without the risk of falling off, these are the way to go. I wouldn’t recommend for hair, unless you have a ton of hair. I mean wrapping up your hair like women sometimes do. They are a little on the expensive side for a towel, but I can’t get anything remotely as good as this near my home, so if you just want one awesome towel, it’s a good buy.
