Quality inverter
Purchased some time back after buying a few off Amazon that was around the same price but useless and unreliable.I've had no issues with this one and it's used daily as I live in my campervan. If you are after a quality inverter look no further. Fully recommend.

Plenty of power but some issues and must fit breaker
The media could not be loaded. This review is for the 5Kw 24V version.*****urgent update*****You MUST fit a DC breaker to this system as close to the positive battery terminal first. The instructions don’t mention this but it is essential to prevent fire. A resettable DC breaker of a suitable size will protect you and preferably a twin pole isolator as these units have no battery isolation. This will also help prevent the flash over on connecting these up and because of these issues I have taken off stars because it is dangerous without these fitted and also modification as the manufacturer has fitted 13A sockets plus its fitted a terminal block connection that’s live when turned on as you only have a single on/off switch for everything. Problem is you can touch the terminal block as the plastic cover is not sufficient to prevent fingers getting in.So? it’s in a cupboard you say but it’s also easy to short out if something falls on it and you will first need you to cover this with insulation tape or a proper cover to be sure it’s safe. Also on first connection I experienced a massive flash over (despite it being off) as the chokes and capacitors charged initially and thought it had blown up but no it’s working So you need to connect this quickly and firmly whilst being aware of the massive inrush.Well first off this is Big and I mean BIG! Now this is a good thing as you don't get this kind of power without some serious weight behind it so no false claims here. If your looking at this seriously then you will know what kind of appliance this will run. For those that don't I can tell you it will run most everything you might have in your house (electric power showers may need more power) with the exception of large induction motors like jet-wash or compressor/workshop equipment. you should also know that you will need some serious battery capacity to get any meaningful run time from this inverter. The book says its a 100Ah minimum recommend. Personally I am lucky enough to have access to four 6V 160Ah batteries so have a good reserve and use a 24V charger to recharge the batteries for now. The idea being to add a few solar panels over time and save some money. For now I am looking to use this in case the much spoken about blackouts happen by simply turning off the main MCB in the fuse box and then using two 1.75mm cables with plugs on the end connected to the inverter output strip and plugged into a twin socket and backfeeding the house (note you need to know what you are doing to perform this safely I accept no responsibility for your actions)I found that this is more than enough to run the house with a couple of lights on (LED Bulbs) my sons computer and light in his room, the LCD TV, sky box, sound bar and sub along with the combo boiler and 3kw kettle with still 1.2Kw spare. The washing machine was also supported and I also tried the above without the kettle but the oven on and induction hob this was also supported but was near the max sustained capacity. You may have to take this apart and rotate the two sockets 90deg as I found you can’t put two plugs in at once due to the cable being in the way -the spacing between sockets is too smallThis is on the large side and in most cases its going to be used by someone with a specific requirement but it's a smart unit with a pure sine wave output that is more than capable of running a caravan/mobile home or off grid use (for reference the house is a two bed semi) just remember big power needs big batteries!

Not 3000 Watts
This unit is not 3000 watts, I used a 1800 watt appliance and the inverter cut out after 5 seconds. Tested it several times and got the same result every time. Also the on/off switch on the remote does not work. Also for no reason this unit cuts out at least once a day, it cuts back in after about 30 seconds. Boy did i make a mistake in buying this.

Good build quality
This is my second try to get a low-cost 2000W 12VDC inverter. It arrived well-packed, even including a 15mm wrench?? as well as high quality and thick cables with nice eyelets crimped on.I tried out my 1700W shop vac and it worked straight away.
