I bought two sizes after reading reviews. In most Hanes undershirts I wear an M, which fits well across my shoulders and closely (but not tight) around my waist. I'm 5'9", 160 lbs. and pretty fit. I found these shirts, in M, to be looser than I like around the waist. The S is close around the waist, so it looks better under dress shirts, and a little bit snug under my arms. Not so much that it binds and I don't notice it during my day--indeed compared with ribbed tanks it's actually more comfortable! It cools well post-workout and on hot days.

I was literally in the rain and the water didn't completely soak through. It kept it's color, shape, etc. Also dries very quickly. Great shirt.
