The blender vane and the handle are made from PP. **Q: Will the larger version make butter out of cream?** A: I don't know but I wouldn't think so because it has a blade that chops things up not a paddle that would CHURN liquids. **Q: Can you chop lettuce with this processor?** A: I personally never chopped lettuce but if it fits in the small container it should chop.
