I was a little concerned about paying this much for a light without physically inspecting it. I can say that it is a great design and the glass globe is thick and high-quality as is the metal frame. I am very pleased with the purchase.

Easy to install (directions not great, but if you’ve installed other fixtures it’s easy enough to figure out. Fixture takes two bulbs but only installed one because we’re using dawn-to-dusk LED’s. One bulb looks perfect. Will update this review if anything changes with performance. One this I will say is look at the direction that the two metal decorative piece comes come and it matches the direction you want before screwing the base part in. Otherwise you will either need to redo it…Or live with it… we had to redo.

This beautiful ceiling light looks good in our hallway and fits with our sleek clean mission design. It is sturdy well Belt and should last for decades.

Looks awesome once installed. But it could have been designed better. The metal part you see, as well as the glass part are quite heavy. Also, the glass has a lip all around, that sits on top of the metal part, and the metal part has two screws that hold it to the fixture on the ceiling. You basically need three hands to install this each time you need to change a bulb. For example, while opening up the light to put in a new bulb, if you hold on to the glass and unscrew the screws on the metal part, the heavy metal part will fall on your hand/arm. If you hold on to the metal part while you loosen the screws, it is too heavy (the weight of the glass combined with the metal part) to hold with one hand, and it could come crashing down. You need two people to remove/install this each time you change a bulb.
