Best way to grow out your gray.
I let my grey grow out durring the pandemic. This is what I used and I love it. I get a lot of compliments. It really does work best if you start with a strong shampoo, no conditioner, and blow dry on high heat. Basically get your hair as porous and dry as possible then apply and let it sit for a good long time.

No Change Before & After!
I've always loved Manic Panic and used it for years, but this 'Dark Star' shade isn't working at all. I dyed my hair, and it looks the same as before!

Great Toner for Blonde or Gray Hair
I use this as a toner for my gray hair and it works so well. Better than actual toners. Also, if I dry my hair after washing, then apply it for about 20-30 minutes, it gives my hair a great dark gun metal color that lasts several washes. This picture is just after use as a toner. The result is much darker when left on for 20-30 mins after drying hair. Love this stuff. Very versatile.
