Perfect for Pinewood Derby Weight Placement
I bought these for my son's Pinewood Derby car because I wanted a weight solution that was easy to position and didn't require drilling large holes or messing around with additional adhesives. The adhesive backing held surprisingly well on its own. We were able to place the weights exactly where we wanted them, with most of the weight positioned about 1 to 1.5 inches in front of the rear axle to maximize performance. The size of the individual weights made it easy to fine-tune the balance and get right up to the maximum allowed weight. Best of all, we didn't need any extra glue, tape, or fasteners. We installed them, made a few adjustments, and they stayed put throughout the event. The end result? My son's car took first place, and he was absolutely thrilled. If you're building a Pinewood Derby car and need an easy way to add and position weight, these worked great for us.

Good adhesion on a variety of wheels
I balance the tires on my beaters at home using a bubble balancer. Laugh if you want to but I can dial the balance in well enough that I don't get any vibrations or unusual tire wear at 80+ MPH. Since neither my truck nor my elderly Toyota will go much faster than that, what I do is good enough for the use they see. Since I deal with different wheel types I didn't want to have to sort out clip-on weights in different styles. I really prefer lead weights but lead is expensive and getting harder to find, so I bought these. These weights have two jobs to do: Stick to the wheel, and not corrode. They do both a lot better than I thought they would. The last time I worked in an automotive garage 20+ years ago I dealt with some really mediocre stick-on weights that would fly off after a while. I HATED those damn things. No matter how I prepped the wheel, they would launch themselves into the stratosphere after a few months. I bought these hoping for the best but mentally preparing myself for the worst. Well, I've never had one fly off yet. I prep the inside of the wheel with a Scotchbrite pad and brake clean, wipe everything down, and stick the weights on. The only time they come off is when I scrape them off to change tires. I've also never had one rust, though I was expecting the worst when I found out they were steel. Whatever they've done to finish them is working, because even after a few years of driving in rain, mud, snow, and road salt I haven't had one rust or stain my wheels. I've been using the same box for a few years now, and I've balanced maybe 4 sets of tires in all. At this rate, if the adhesive doesn't dry out this box will be a lifetime supply. They still stick well and I haven't had any problems. I probably won't need more anytime soon but I would buy some in a heartbeat if I did.

Iโve used plenty of stick-on weights before
Iโve used plenty of stick-on weights before, but these CKAuto ones are solid. Adhesive is strong, the matte black finish blends right into dark rims, and the strips are easy to cut. They balanced my Harley wheels perfectly. My only gripeโthe backing tape is a bit of a pain to peel. Still, clean results every time. Iโd buy them again.

For the R/C crawlers!
Cheap way to add weight down low, especially greagbin the front to achieve that perfect balance. Twelve fit perfectly around the outside of a 1.9 inner beadlock ring. They stick very well, be sure to clean with alcohol first.

Work great and look great
I used these to balance the tires on my motorcycle. They worked perfectly and I like the low profile and black color. They do not stand out and fit very nicely. The first one I tried did not stick well, but it was because I forgot to clean the rim. Once I cleaned the rim with alcohol, they stick extremely well and are easy to install.

Good deal
Standard every day weights should do the job. Low cost for the quantity.

Worth weighting for
Work great on motorcycle wheels. Stick very well on the wheels surface after cleaning with rubbing alcohol. The black weight colour works very well on blue wheels. Would be even better if 1/8 oz weights were also available but totally workable with 1/4 oz weights.
