Legendary WhitetailsWomens Cottage Escape Flannel Long Sleeve Plaid and Solid Color Clothes, Fitted Button Down

First off, I love this shirt. It is a nice medium weight quality flannel that I will be able to use more than once a year living in Florida, and definitely when I go elsewhere. It is soft and cozy, not scratchy or cheap. I just wanted to weigh in because there was a lot of arguing over the size. I am 5'10", about 170, but smaller chested. I would normally wear a large to be comfortable and be able to put a tank top or thermal under a shirt like this.I took my best guess on whom to believe, and I ordered an XXL. When it arrived, it fit long and looser, like a tunic rather than a man's shirt, because it is slightly fitted for a woman. The sleeves were long enough to cuff once. I washed it once after wearing to hang out in the hotel on a weekend trip. I washed it in the regular cycle and put it in the dryer but removed immediately. It now fits like a perfect Large. That's exactly what I was hoping for and I'm very happy.

I am 5‘6“, 115 pounds, 36/30/36. Ordered a medium but small was delivered. The sz. small gapes slightly at the bust - I’ll exchange for the medium due to reports of shrinking. The side seams are such that it can be easily taken in if needed so I’m sticking with my original request. Sleeves are plenty long for my long arms. Measurement ( sz small) from collar band/yoke seam in back to bottom hem is 27 inches. Long enough for leggings I think. Plaid matches well at the front, not at the sides. If you had 4H or Home-Ec sewing (I’m that old) this will bug us but to be expected at this price. This seems to be a nice weight, quality flannel. I like it well enough to order another color - or may go for LL Bean’s signature chamois plaid tunic.

My wife loves this shirt. It is difficult to find good quality women's flannel shirts. And men's shirts usually don't fit women that well. Legendary Whitetails generally has good quality merchandise (for having been made in India or China) but they are usually so overpriced that we pass them up -- both women's and men's. But the Legendary Whitetails Women's Cottage Escape Flannel Shirt was on sale and it was a good buy. Good fit, decent quality, washes up nicely (we wash in cold or warm and drip dry most things like this). Limited choice at this reduced price, but highly recommended by the boss. Hope this helps!

For reference I bought the Forest Plaid color which is definitely a red, black and grey color combo. I had read reviews saying this shirt ran big so I bought size XL. I'm normally between XL and XXL in shirts depending on how they run. I was so disappointed to get this shirt and realize I should have gotten the XXL. Maybe the sizes run different for each color but it doesn't run big at all. In fact, I would say it runs small for anyone with a bigger chest. I'm size 40D and I could not get this shirt close to button at all. I plan to still wear it open but it definitely looks more snug than I wanted it to.

AFTER READING EVERYONES REVIEWS ON THIS SHIRT, I THOUGHT I WOULD GIVE IT A TRY AS WELL.I LOVE THE EXTRA DETAIL ON THE COLAR AND THE CUFFS. I WILL SAY THE SHIRT DOES RUN SMALL LIKE ALOT OF OTHERS SAY. I PURCHASED XXL IN THIS AND GLAD I DID. I AM 5'10, ATHLETIC BUILD, LONG TORSO, LONG LEGS.THE SHIRT IS LONG ENOUGH IN THE ARMS, AND THE LENGTH IS PERFECT TO ME, COVERS SOME BOOTY. I DO NOT KNOW ABOUT THE SHRINKING AS SOME HAVE SAID, BUT I ALSO ALLOWED FOR THAT WHEN GETTING THE XXL, I DO THINK IF IT SHRINKS SOME, I WILL BE FINE STILL. I PLAN ON NOT DRYING IT COMPLETELY TO SEE HOW IT FITS AFTER WASHING AND PARTIAL DRYING.

Okay okay I get it, this did not fit me right, but nonetheless I loved it, I am returning it so I can get a bigger size!Color: I loved the color, I also plan to buy 2 of the other ones because I like the colors so much!Size: I am 6"1, I have long legs and long arms proportionate to my body. This fit my waist well, but not my arms. I need a few more inches. It also did not fit my chest but only by an inch or so. I am returning it to get a larger size.Feel: It had a nice soft feel to it and I love the "liner" on the inside of it.Overall, great shirt, I just need it to fit my gorilla arms heh.--Edit #1 I just returned the item I previously bought: Super quick refund, easy to do (as usual with Amazon!), and purchased the 1XL so hopefully that one fits me! Ill re-edit when it comes.--Edit #2: I got the new shirt super quick! As previously stated, I have long arms lol and I still could have used about 1/2 inch on the new shirt, but, Ill live! I’m 5’7” and 197lbs. I bought the Legendary Whitetails Women's Cottage Escape Flannel Shirt in a 2X. It is really cute and made well, but it is not rummy at all. I would definitely not put it in the dryer. I think this product is well worth buying, I would just keep in mind you may have to keep trying until you get the right size.

I really like this shirt and the material. I get lots of compliments on it. I bought a large as I have am busy and after washing it once it fits perfect. Usually don't button my plaid and wear them in layers. I would buy again!

I bought a size bigger as wasn't sure and I don't might it being a bit baggy. Glad i did as I think size down doukd be tight across bust area. Love it though

I got this top and tried it on. It fit beautiffuly so i followed the washing instructions and washed on a delicate cycle and put it in the dryer on low as per label. It is now so tight I can’t raise my arms. It is a beautiful top. I’m so disappointed and I’m afraid to order another one. i ordered a medium and I normally take a small to medium size. I’m not giving a high rating because of the amount of shrinking.

Bought this in the UK for my wife. Be aware you won’t get American sizes but Chinese ones. Ordered a large, shirt received would fit a 12yo.

The quality is amazing. Colors are as well. But sizing is not right. I trusted some reviews here that it is true to size, and the Amazon note, and I ordered an M (my confy size, cause the actual one is S-M) that shirt does not even close on me. My sizing here on Amazon or other online stores or in regular stores is S-M and 6-8 (mostly S as the M tend to be loosen). I ordered 4 colors of M trusting my experience, the fact that it's ok if it is a bit loosen, and the fact that it says here the sizing is accurate. It is not. Got to send back all 4 of them. I read a review saying it is not US sizing. Well it is not Canadian or even European one either (i am a European and Canadian). I rarely got to upsize on Amazon. Usually it is too big even in my size. Hope it helps.

After reading the reviews, I couldn't make my mind up between my regular size -medium- or getting a large. I bought a medium and when I put it on, it fit perfectly but was a little snug across the chest. I'm a pretty small medium and I thought that if this shrinks at all it won't fit. A lot of the reviews talked about how the shirt shrinks no matter how you wash it. I ordered a large so I could compare the two. The large had sleeves that were way too long and it was all over a little large for me. I decided to wash the large and see what would happen. The sleeves shrink in length and the entire shirt shrink to a perfect medium. I love the shirt but they've really have got to make it clear that this shirt will shrink and if you're close at all to being between sizes, then size up. Returned the medium no problem, however when I ordered the large the price had gone up and it cost me $5 more.
