It does take a little getting used to because of it’s very strong retractable mechanism, this is no bad thing compared to the one I was issued with it’s like night & day difference in quality & robustness. It’s smart discreet & very well put together, however choose wisely which model to buy, my version the clip on is only ideal if the user is going to wear it clipped on to a waist belt if you can’t wear it clipped to a belt then consider a hook on version but do remember the recoil action will be just as powerful avoid flimsy clothing if you don’t want it to damage your garment or detach from you. I am aware you can also hang keys from the attached key ring holder but in my case I’ve removed the key ring & use it as an I.d pass holder only. The mechanism is smooth & quiet but do beware keep your hand on your I.d pass / keys as you pull it out because this will spring back very strongly especially take care if you clip it close your midriff. I like the materials used I can see & feel this will take a lot of heavy use before it shows signs of ware. The weight is reasonable, I can’t say it’s noticeable or makes a difference when I’m wearing it & definitely not bulky I haven’t snagged it anywhere. Just what I needed in stressful situations, a pass holder made to take the punishment & hold its own. ## Frequently Bought Together - MNGARISTA Heavy Duty Retractable Keychain with Belt Clip, ID Badge Reel, Badge Holder with 31.5' Steel Cord and Key Ring, 9.0oz, 2-Pack - MNGARISTA 2-Pack Retractable Keychain, Heavy Duty Carabiner Badge Holder, Tactical ID Badge Reel with 31.5” Steel Retractable Cord, 8.0 oz - Pawfly 2 Pack Vertical 2-Card Badge Holder with Thumb Slot Hard Transparent PC Case Protector for Office School IDs Credit Cards Driver’s Licenses and Passes --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sk/products/455373394-heavy-duty-retractable-keychain-with-belt-clip-id-badge-reel](https://www.desertcart.sk/products/455373394-heavy-duty-retractable-keychain-with-belt-clip-id-badge-reel) --- *Product available on Desertcart Slovakia* *Store origin: SK* *Last updated: 2026-10-23*
