Not sure why they are looking for light weight in a quilt. Probably medium heavy which I like. Very comfortable and warm. I live in Minnesota and like to keep my room cold, which is easy in this climate. When you get into bed you can feel the weight of the quilt which is not to heavy or light. Bed warms quickly but never gets uncomfortably warm.

This quilt is absolutely beautiful. The colors are beautiful. The blanket is well put together. It is a true patchwork quilt. It's not simply printed material. The pattern is beautiful. I'd say it's a midweight quilt. I've added some pictures fresh out of the bag. Any wrinkles are not part of defects in the blanket. They are just from being folded in the package. The reverse side pattern is also beautiful. I'm very pleased with this quilt. It was a great buy.

If you want real cotton, quality workmanship, and vibrant color in a classic design, this is your quilt! I wanted a bed cover that can withstand my cat playing and cavorting on it, it doesn't snag or rumple. It is a nice thick fabric with beautiful color combinations which adds a punch of interest to my otherwise neutral bedroom. I washed it and air dried it with great results. The queen size didn't hang as long on the sides as I wanted, so I rotated it so the top and bottom are actually laying side to side. It looks fine because the squared patchwork works either way and it's still long enough from head to foot. I wouldn't call this exactly lightweight. It's more of a medium weight. Very happy with the quality of this colorful quilt set.

I absolutely love this quilt but very disappointed in the pillow shams. I initially ordered the queen and while that fit my queen bed perfectly the pillow shams did not fit my queen pillows at all being several inches too small. The shams will fit standard size pillows not queen. So I returned the queen set and received a king set today. Those shams are HUGE! If I did use those shams they will be hanging over the sides of the bed. Pretty sure I will be returning this set too. Can't believe the manufacturer doesn't make queen size shams for the queen size quilt set. ETA: I decided to keep the King set. I bought a couple king size pillows and I think I prefer the bigger look to the skinnier look with the standard size pillows and shams that come with the queen set. I am also happy with the more generous look the king quilt gives the queen bed. I still hope the manufacturer will make appropriate size shams for each size quilt: full/standard, queen/queen, king/king.

This patchwork quilted bedspread is beautiful. Nicely made and the patchwork is so nicely done. I really like it and goes well with my brown bedroom décor. I have a queen bed, but brought a King as I like quilts to hang down on the bed and this one hangs nicely. Got it with a lighting deal which was a great price. I love all the different colors, not too much, just right.

***** UPDATE *****In just 8 months this quilt is falling apart. It also was not preshrunk as stated and shrunk a great deal ( i have washed twice in cold water only).In my attempt to resolve receiving shoddy workmanship the company was dismisive with me.I would not buy this product knowing how bad the workmanship is and how terrible CiCi cumstomer service is.I am IN LOVE with this comforter set. The colors are beautiful and the quality is outstanding.The oversized comforter fit my Cal King pillowtop with room to spare! I've never had a comforter that actually fit my large poster bed!In reading the reviews others have said to get a King for their Queen sized beds. I personally think it would be huge, unless you really wanted a bed spread.The set was shipped quickly from CiCi directly.I couldn't be more thrilled with my purchase!

I was pleasantly surprised by this quilt. It is very soft, well made, and generously sized to fully cover the bed well and leave room to tuck it in.Many quilts I've seen have cheap rough or slick fabrics, bad stitching, and too little fill, as well as being cut too small for the bed you're trying to cover, especially king beds. But this one is perfect. It's not too light or heavy, and perfect for transitional seasons like Spring or Fall. Breathes well due to the cotton, so you won't wake up in the middle of the night feeling overheated and smothered.The colors chosen for the patchwork blend well together, unlike many garish quilts I've seen that make you wonder why they pick the odd color combinations they do.Price is good too for a 100% cotton quilt.

Nothing beats cotton, this is a cool, summer quilt. If you're looking for something warm then buy micro fleece.

Just as lovely as in the picture, very cozy and durable. During four season we have already had to wash it a few times and you can tell it’s going to hold up nicely. The next best thing to a home made quilt!

We used this in our quest bedroom, where my husband had chosen a hunter green paint. He wouldn’t let me paint so I had to find a bedspread that went with h his paint colour and it worked beautifully with it . I can actually like his choice in colour with this.
