This product is particularly easy to use, and it also has a card reading function. I didn’t expect such a small thing with so many functions. It really didn’t disappoint me. This feels great. The exterior is made of metal and it can read SD. Card, which is not a feature in many products. In addition, multiple usb ports can be connected, which facilitates the mutual transfer of data, and saves the data to my hard disk at a faster speed. All in all, this product is highly recommended and a five-star praise must be given!

I wanted to replace my office desktop with something that I could easily take to the courthouse, on vacation or just home. Cloud options are not secure enough for some of what I do, and I am sick of trying to synchronize and keep track of thumb drives. However, I could not imagine trying to work all day on a little laptop or tablet. The dock option seemed like the way to go. I set my sights on one of the more expensive/elaborate docks, but couldn't justify the expense so soon after sinking all the money into the computers. So I bought this with the intention of upgrading later. After a week of use, I see that an upgrade is completely unmercenary. This Dock is absolutely perfect for my needs. I had been concerned that for the price, the dock was not going to be able to handle the traffic between the computer and the numerous USB devices that I use or the office network traffic. I had no reason to worry. This thing is working great, communicating with multiple devices at once. I am using a USB hub to connect the mouse, keyboard and external memory as the ports in the dock are filled by other office equipment. Even with the hub attaching more devices than the dock was built for, it is seamlessly funneling all of that in and out of the Surface's one USB3 port. The physical connection is tight. Much tighter than the Surface power supply connection. Setup was non-existent. It was plug and play. Each morning it takes mere seconds to plug the dock into the tablet and instantly be connected to the network, monitor and the full desktop experience. I did not expect it to work this well at this price.

I liked the product. Plug and play and reliable as you connect, disconnect and reconnect. Seamless experience.

May be a little tricky at first. I had two monitors to connect to this unit, and MSI 2560 x1440 144hz and a Samsung 1920x1080 60hz. I originally had the MSI plugged into the displayport and the Samsung plugged into the HDMI port and after about a half hour of use, the Samsung would cut out every 10 minutes, getting more and more frequent. I worked with the seller and they gave me a few things to try, and maintained that if these didn't work they would refund me. I actually found the solution on my own: I switched connections and plugged the MSI in on the HDMI connection and the Samsung into the displayport, and 0 issues after that. If you run into the same problem with this type of scenario, try this. I decided to wait a few weeks before writing my review to make sure everything worked. This thing makes working from home wonderful. Instead of using the micromonitor, I can utilize 2 27" monitors with an external keyboard. Great buy!

The docking station works great and is convenient. Just be warned that it does not charge the tablet. You still need to plug it into the charger.
