Great filtration
Not sure the water tastes any better than straight out of the tap but you can tell it filters stuff because the filter takes longer to fill the pitcher after even a few weeks.

Simple, Effective Filter That Makes My Water Taste Much Cleaner
Using the PUR Plus 7‑Cup Water Filter has made a clear difference in how fresh my water tastes. The pitcher is lightweight and easy to handle, and the lid design keeps refilling quick and mess‑free. The filter snaps in securely and works consistently without slowing the pour speed too much. I appreciate that the pitcher fits easily in the fridge without taking up much space. For a straightforward, reliable way to improve everyday drinking water, this filter has been a solid addition to my kitchen.

Takes too daman long
EDIT***I asked ChatGPT and it advised me to shake, rinse, shake, rinse and reseat it. I did that now i am enjoying delicious water!!! *** Takes hours to filter water and the pitcher isn't that big. I have been waiting for over 90.minutes for the last bit of water to finish WHYYYYYYYYYYY

Good filter
I bought two similar filter/pitchers, Brita and Pur, in April. Both are fine, although the water tastes a bit better from the Brita. The main reason I wanted to write a review is that I read some crazy reviews about these products: spouts not staying open when you pour water out, lids not staying up when you're putting water in, etc, and I can't see any way any of those things could happen. They function perfectly. The one legit issue was cracked pitcher on arrival, both brands. Easy replacement, both have worked fine with constant use for over 2 months.

Form over function
As the title says, this water pitcher is form over function. I "upgraded" from a very old Pur pitcher with the non plus filters. The current style looks nice but there are so many flaws it's not worth it. The new one does not hold that much water either in the pre-filter reservoir or in the post filter reservoir. You need to fill the pre-filter reservoir about three times before it will fully fill the bottom section. That wouldn't be so bad if it filtered faster. I would say it takes around thirty minutes to fully filter from the top reservoir to the bottom. I've never seen a water filter take that long. I thought maybe something was wrong with it but it seems to be functioning properly. It's just really really slow. This means you have to repeatedly check on it if you want to have a fully filled bottom reservoir. The worst case scenario is that you run out of filtered water and now you have to wait 30 minutes just to get another glass of water. Also, the design of the lid needs some work. If you have the top reservoir fully filled it is very easy to get water to spill out the top while moving it and spilling down the handle all over your hand and onto the floor. This new design requires you to fill the water through a small lid within the larger lid. They tell you not to get the filter light wet during washing. This is the easy enough to avoid when washing the lid because the mechanism is easily removed. It's a different story when you're filling up the pitcher because you'll inevitably get the filter sensor wet during fill up often enough. Buy something else. Trust me.

Arrived with broken lid
I used the PUR filter before on that tap in my old kitchen sink. I was always impressed with how well the water tasted. When I refrigerator water dispenser broke I was looking for a good pitcher to use temporarily until it got fixed. So when I saw this filter pitcher from PUR it was an obvious choice. The pitcher arrived today and I was very excited to get it all set up. I began soaking the filter for 15 minutes, washed the pitcher and the lid as I got ready to prime the filter before use. It was when I attached the lid that I noticed that water inlet lid appeared loose. Upon closer inspection I saw that the pins were not in the in the groove. No matter what I tried, the lid kept coming off because the plastic pins were too short to catch into the hole. I was so disappointed in the poor quality, workmanship and design of a well known product. I reached out for an exchange and will update this review when I get the replacement and fully test it out. But for now this is only worth three stars.

Great price
I was tired of the cloudy refrigerator water even with a new filter. This is a god sent because it fits the 64 ounce jug i have perfectly. It does not take up alot of space and it taste great. Filters come in bulk so thats a plus. Love the light to let you know when to replace. Great deal.

For a few days the Pur Plus filter that came with the pitcher drained the 4-cup tray in 20 minutes. The drain time got longer every day until after 7-10 days it took 4-5 hours to drain the tray. I closely followed online instructions to de-clog the filter (turn upside down, shake vigorously until granules move freely, rinse drain ports for 30 sec cold then 30 sec warm). This reduced drain time to 3-4 hours for one day, then it was back to 6 hours. I call Pur and they sent another filter no charge : ) But the same thing happened. I've seen many similar complaints online. Pur should should stop selling this product that doesn't work as advertised.

In the set of photos given the dimensions for this pitcher are given but are actually for the pitcher that is the next size up. It gives the capacity in cups as well so I should have measured that instead but I measured my broken pitcher that this one was to replace and it was the same.

Water is barely dripping through the filter after 10-15 uses. Have followed all the steps suggested in the FAQ of the manufacturer to no avail. Waste of money.

Received this and it had obviously already been returned by someone else. The water filter package was already open and the filter was soaking wet. Pretty bad!
