There are a lot of negative reviews about this product breaking. I've had this for a month and have had zero problems with it. I've taken it camping and use it almost every day. Don't put it in a dishwasher with heated dry as it's a plastic product and might melt. When full don't carry it by the strap and try not to drop it as it is a full gallon of liquid and the container isn't indestructible. There are few full gallon bottles out there and I think this does the job just fine.

Absolutely love this gallon. Wanted to put to use before writing a review (was shipped to me Feb10; today April15). I ordered the pink gallon and came as pictured; color was exactly what I wanted!!! Has helped me maintain and (at times) exceed my daily water goal.I have taken this bottle with me to school, work and they gym. It’s a real talking point! I often have 10+ hour days where I’m out and about and am thankful to always have water with me. Although keep in mind the size. If you are not ready/willing to carry around a large and possibly heavy bottle, you may want to consider a different sized bottle. Also, the bottle is completely plastic; therefore it has no insulation. Cold water will not stay cold for very long. Also condensation occurs and may wet surfaces (to be clear it doesn’t leak!!)It has maintained very well. While I don’t throw/handle my bottle aggressively, I don’t handle it very gently either and have not have any cracking/breaking. its rolled around in my car and some bags and been fine, I still do not recommend throwing it, freezing it or mishandling it. Have yet to experience any leaking.Washing is super easy. Just wash like any other bottle. I appreciate the cap attachment, although some may not. It is a bit difficult refilling it with my water dispenser, but literally every bottle has the same issue so I don’t think that is a negative. Also love the opening size; it’s easy to drink from or add to your waters (like lemon juice, flavoring, etc.).Overall 5 stars because I can’t think of any specific/outstanding negatives. I would recommend.

I have no idea why this product doesn't have 5 stars. I bought my first of these in about 2016 and was literally perfect. When I was looking at these reviews, I thought maybe I'd just gotten a good unit but I doubt that's the case because I bought my second one a few months ago- it's just as good as the first one. The only reason I had to get another is because my last one was mistakenly thrown away by someone. I only fill mine's with water so I have 0 need to wash it in the dish washer- I put a small amount of tap water in it along with a couple of drops of dish soap and shake it- voila, clean. The construction is very durable, I've never had a slight thought of this thing breaking or anything. I'm currently Active Duty in a desert in the Middle East, so you can believe I'm putting it through some work every day. The cap is tethered to the mouth of the bottle so you can't lose it (big plus for me) and is easy to screw on or just leave hanging to the side. Never had any leaking issues or anything like that. I don't have much else to say other than I can't give you a single reason not to get one of these.

About 1.5 months ago, I purchased 3 of these bottles to have. When I took them out of the box they all seemed to be brand new and in good condition. I had initially bought these so I had 1-2 to take on weekends away from home (so I could have nice clean well water) with another 1-2 on back-up. Well I finally got around to using all the bottles to learn that one of them had a hidden hole in it. Unfortunately the seller doesn't allow returns after 30 days. This is ultimately my fault for not filling all bottles upon arrival, but he seller should take ownership for their poor quality control. I'm not sure how you let a bottle get shipped with a hole in it for water to leak out. It's not noticeable to the eye, or it would have been caught when I opened the box. If the seller makes this right, I would happily change my rating and pass along how nice the product has been so far. For now, I'm going to continue to let others know that they should look somewhere else for a similar product. Word of mouth is very precious in the technology age. Do what's right.

Love these bottles but be aware that "Something" has changed in the material/build as they do not hold up as well as previous versions. I have some bottles that are more than 5 years old with no issues but have had 3 of these "newer ones" fail within a year. Mainly start leaking on the seams. Wish there were other options as - to be honest - they are not worth the money buying these ones if they continue to fail so quickly.

These are great bottles to use for refilling the water dishes that are outside for our Great Danes. We have one male dane who drinks quite a bit of water. These jugs are easy to carry and easy to refill. They make transporting clean water from inside the house to their water bowls outside much easier, as I end up cleaning their bowls several times a day. Great purchase!

I bought this gift for my paraprofessional who always used a gallon milk jug for his daily beverage. I wanted a bottle that would be a little more professional while still suiting his unique persona (Viking as my students say), more handlable as he moves between classes, something he could wash and reuse, and most importantly BPA-free as he uses it daily. I also thought about why he used the milk jug, probably to get that large quantity and see-through quality. After my searching and deliberation, this is the bottle I chose. He came to me the next morning with his bottle in hand and gave me the biggest hug in thanks. I hope he will get great use out of it.
