It won't charge fully, looses charge fast. We have done all the steps on Apple to try and fix problem ( cleaning portal, rebooting completely, taking everything off and putting back on, bought new Apple charging cord). I ended up taking it to a shop to have them install because of having to take off the screen to install and I was afraid to do that. It cost me a little extra because I brought my own battery. After a few months, I would get the message " this accessory may not be supported". I would strongly advise to not buy this battery. I see it no longer available...…….good.Now, I have taken phone in for new battery and it is still doing what it did before, not charging and losing charge fast. When iti s plugged in to the new apple cord, it shows the battery icon for a second and then it goes away. I get the same message about this accessory may not be supported. We also wiped phone clean and reloaded again. same.........ugh................ so not the battery problem but evidently software problem. Apple won't try and fix it with a non apple battery having been installed. Time for a whole new phone. ### ⭐ seemed great..but no *by J***O on October 19, 2017* battery died after less than a month. might have shorted out the rest of the phone too.installation was a breeze. online youtube tutorials make this easy (definitely use a video if you can, don't use paper instructions)the tools for installation were top notch. That's why this gets 1 star and not 0.I installed the new battery while wearing a grounding bracelet (not included)I fully calibrated the new battery initially in the most careful and geekiest waysthe new battery seemed great for about 2 weekson week 3 the new battery started dying at weird points (going from 45% charge top 7% charge in 5 mintutes, and then dead a minute later)on week 4 the phone entered a boot loop failure and will only turn on once ever 10-20 reboots, and even then only for a few minutes.replaced battery with a different new one on week 5 and it was good as new. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ seems to be doing what its suppose to *by G***E on October 10, 2017* I put this battery in hoping to forestall having to upgrade my iPhone. Instructions could have been better and installation time is closer to 30 minutes while making sure everything is done correctly and squinting at the diagrams. As soon as I closed the case though, the phone fired right up and I'm going a whole day on a charge with strong use (usually about 40% left at 10pm). My old battery was 4 years old and had been dropped in a river fly fishing so I was having to charge every 6-8 hours and it was extremely unpredictable. I'm happy now and its been performing solid for two weeks. A few reviews were saying the batteries faltered after a month or 2 so I'll see how they do in the next few weeks.
