This one works!
I’ve tried almost every non toxic dishwasher formula out there. Nellie’s is my favorite! It works and the price is good compared to other brands. You only need a tablespoon per load. I love that it’s a plant-based, phosphate-free and made without harsh synthetic fragrances, chlorine, or dyes. I also use their laundry detergent!

This WORKS
I have to be real here. Sadly, so many times non-toxic products do not work, e.g. natural deodorants & natural toothpastes (at least they don’t work for me). So I had very little expectations for non-toxic dishwasher soaps. Still, I wanted to give it a try because as we learn more of the negative effects of all the chemicals we use in our day-to-day, it’s just worthwhile to give non-toxic products a chance.I am shocked as to how well this works. I don’t see any difference in the cleanliness of my dishes when compared to the Kirkland brand. I even prefer this brand because there is no strong smell while the dishwasher is working. Some people mentioned that this soap leaves spots behind, but I didn’t notice any of that. I’m just overall very happy with the product.I was also positively surprised that one single spoonful is enough, so a small bag gives you 50 uses. Since I live in a small place I love not having to store a big box with lots of pods.10/10 recommend.

reasonable dishwasher powder that leans towards the more natural side
In general this dishwasher powder works reasonably well.Pros: It does not leave behind an odor which was a big plus in our house. It does not leave spots on our dishes. Ingredients seem more natural than majority of commercial dishwasher detergents.Cons: It sometimes has a hard time with stuck on eggs, tea/coffee and some greasier items, but other times it works okay for these. These dishes were not pre-washed before the dishes were run through the dishwasher.Water being used is provided by a city water source. Water is not softened but is not particularly hard water either.

Defective packaging that will leave a HUGE mess for you to clean up. Would not buy again.
I really wanted to like this product, especially because I specifically purchased an unscented dishwasher powder. Unfortunately, the packaging is a major problem. The powder comes in a tin that, at least in the one I received, had no internal protective seal to keep the contents contained if the lid came loose. Mine arrived completely busted open, with detergent powder pouring out everywhere. It was leaking so badly during delivery that there was a visible trail of dishwasher powder from the Amazon truck all the way to my front door.Amazon’s handling of the damaged package is obviously a separate issue, but the lack of a secure inner seal on the actual product is what concerns me about the product itself. Shipping products can get bumped, dropped, or turned upside down. A container of loose cleaning powder should have some type of secondary seal or barrier so that a loose lid doesn’t result in the entire contents spilling out.At $22.73 for 100 loads, this isn’t an inexpensive dishwasher detergent, either. I shouldn’t lose a significant amount of the product and have to clean detergent off my property before I’ve even used it once.I hope Nellie’s considers adding a proper protective seal underneath the lid. The product itself may be great, but I can’t recommend the packaging in its current form.

It works!
I've been using this now for 4 months. I previously used finish. I've read a few bad reviews on here. I honestly don't understand how there experience was so much different. I'm on a well, but I have an outstanding water treatment system which includes a water softener. I use just over one scoop for a full load. The dishes are clean and streak free. There is no odor or chemical residue left. When I drink water from a glass now, it tastes like water. There's no detergent taste at all unlike with the previous stuff.

Where’s my crunchy moms?
After educating myself and researching better products for my family I decided to switch to Nellie’s dishwasher detergent. Free of plastics and all the nastys we don’t want to wash our dishes with. Works well, and is a nontoxic product. This is a win all around.

Nellies is the Way to go!
The dishes came out clean. No awful smell or residue left on dishes. I'm glad I made the switch to powder. Nellies has clean ingredients that don't interact negatively with my health like D.W. pods do. Highly recommend

Pas d'odeur et savonne bien
J'ai acheté un petit paquet pour tester et finalement je ne suis pas déçu. Aucune odeur, lave bien, et je trouve plus économique que les doses individuelles à la mode !

Big Nellie’s fan!
I bought this dishwasher powder after using Finish pods for the last 10 years. I wanted to try a cleaner product and I am so glad I made the switch. I have clean dishes without the nasty chemical smell. I use 1 scoop per load and my dishes are always clean. Love all Nellie’s products I have tried!

Soap works great for most.
I tried this soap on my previous Samsung water wall dishwasher. Did not clean so well. It turns out Samsung just makes crappy dishwashers and require soaps with harsh chemicals to do most of the work. Upgraded to a Bosch 300 series and tried the soap again and it cleans 90% as well as the big brand name dish soaps with all the harsh chemicals. This soap does have a tougher time with dried stuck on food when dishes are left overnight sitting on the counter. Running a soak/rinse cycle prior to washing helps a lot for those situations. For the most part this soap has no strong perfumes and leaves glass wear sparkling. When I use this soap I run on Heavy setting with Sanitize + Extra dry and results are great even with heavy greasy dishes. For Dried stuck on foods this soap will struggle a bit.

Changed review - doesn't work at all
Final review: Definitely made a mistake. Dishes NOT clean at all. There were streaks still and glasses all foggy and I could feel stuff on the plates. Thought maybe I didn't put in enough product and tried again with an extra rinse this time. Made no difference. Through in some regular detergent the 3rd wash and dishes finally clean. So VERY disappointed in the product. Too heavy to bother returning. Have been scouping it into dirty frying pans as an initial soak - not doing much good there either.Hard to get a good picture of something shiny but here they are, first after 3 washes with Nellie's and 2nd - 1 wash with other stuff.First Review: There is no scent as such, but it has a very mild smell (soda-like). Unlike others, there were a few things it didn't clean that well in the dishwasher, but I'm not sure if it's the soap or my dishwasher. I like it way better than the dishwasher soap I used that when you opened the door this horrid smell came out, so I'm happy with it. I'll see how it keeps doing in subsequent washes.
