These are not hard chews but soft ones.
I was a little surprised that these treats were soft, but my little Bunny Butt named Dawson was just as happy as could be. She loves them. Since they are so soft, I cut them into 3 pieces and serve them like any other treat. 18 pieces for the price of 6 is not too bad.

Inaccurate ingredients on Amazon, may be toxic to your dog!
On the product description, the ingredients are listed as just "elk". Great. But the ingredient list on the actual package includes sugar and garlic powder (along with rice protein, spices, salt and sodium nitrite). I tend to avoid giving my dog treats with sugar in them, especially treats that are chews, and garlic powder can be toxic to dogs. Not returnable and Amazon just sends me around in circles trying to get a refund. Awesome.

Son's Pomeranian loves this.
My son's Pomeranian dog loves this. Only I thought he would chew it a bit longer since it is big and he is small. He wolfed it down in 1 minute.
