septic strainer
seems to work well, I only pulled it out one time so far to clean it.

Beware of the insert included!
I like that the filter seems well designed and that the filter can come out of the housing with relative ease. It can also receive a piece of 1'2" pvc pipe to extend the handel so you can avoid getting your hands in the sewage water if it get plugged and the water level gets higher than the top of the housing.I was perplexed for a while when I tried to match up the filter to the ABS pipe going to my drainfield, it didn't seem to fit until I found out the insert was already installed in the housing. The insert is given to fill the gap if you have a thin walled pipe.

Nice T for septic
I scrapped the filter. Wouldn’t want to be digging in my poo for that and would likely clog.

I purchased this filter and was going to return it because it would not fit because cement baffle was too close. Now learned on YouTube I have to break out the cement baffle and install this product perfectly.Thank you.
