This is easy on and easy off. Fit my gti. No problem

The size is to small. You will not be able to mount most license plates on it unless you drill your own hole or have a different mount to mount on this one. Quality feels like cheap crappy aluminum that can snap at any point in time. Look else where if you want better quality or if you do not want to buy 2 different mounts just to have this work out.

this is not for a vw or audi vehicle, did not fit bolt pattern is for subaru or toyotawould send it back but lost the packing

It does what it needs to, but it does become loose very easy. Installation was more difficult then it needed to be, but it got the job done. Also wish it allowed the plate to be a bit more flush with the car. Tighten regularly, take off for car washes.

These are OK. They are easy to install but they only hold a position for a short time and then need to be retightened. For the price, I get that as the solid expensive ones cost close to $100. So you get what you pay for here. I have found that using lock tight on the screws helps and mounting in one of center holes prevents some of the tag rotation you get if it’s one of the holes along the edge. The post always fits well in the car. Just seems like if they added ribs or texture to where the frame mounted to the post it would be rock solid. Overall, met our needs.

This product is better priced than some of the other options and was 'as described'. It fit my car and is doing what i need it to do.That being said, the quality is very poor. First and most significantly, the paint on the metal chips away very easily. It has peeled or fallen off near all of the bolts in particular. I expect this to look like bare aluminum within a year. Additionally, the mounting hardware is painted and is made of soft metal. It mars/warps easily and will not last.I am fine with the purchase because I just needed a good solution to mount the plate without drilling. Someone with a pristine car or who otherwise doesn't want to bolt on something that looks bad may want to look at the more expensive options.

Doesnt FiT MK5 front tow hook Threads!!I had to use electrical tape on the adaptor to make it thread in!!!

I ordered this and was extremely excited to install it. However, when I was trying to put it in, I noticed it it way to big for the towhook hole and won't thread in as the towhook hole is significantly smaller. Also the item isn't reverse threaded so even if it was the correct size it still wouldn't have threaded in.. I am very disappointed with this item, it was a complete waste of money for me..

I believe it advertises thst it fits the 2012 Jetta but it in fact doesn’t.

Fits great in the car, love the reverse thread to get it in the bumper/ tow hook support however it sticks out a little bit further then I would like hence the 4 star review, also if you tighten the plate bracket to the support to hold it, no matter how tight you go the bracket and license plate will spin, good for the angled plate look
