Amazing, one year on, updates applied all ok. Does the job exactly as stated and intended with dealer level coding and programming functions. I was sceptical, but it does exactly what it claims. It's got the functionality of the larger launch devices, just tied to one brand (or group of brands) as advertised. Screen is nice and clear and easy to read in direct sunlight. Item is small enough to keep in glovebox . Menu structure is not the easiest to use, but if you have used other launch or similar diagnostic products, it's fairly intelligible. Supposedly has a built in battery, but it turns off when unplugged from vehicle, so no idea.

Good quality bit of kit, suitable for most diy jobs and fault finding on the car. Good build quality with regular updates. Great value for money and has the potential to save £££’s on garage prices. Easy to use and good connectivity to wifi and hotspots. Compatible with my BMW but other manufacturers can also be added to the device via a marketplace

The scanner wouldn’t register online and tells you to complete registration on mobile terminal, there is no login button on the device or any way to complete registration on the terminal. I spoke to UK team and was advised it was a China model, I connected to my mobile hotspot instead of my home wifi which then allowed it to connect and download updates. My home internet blocks access to the China update servers.

Used this diagnostic with a little trepidation as “too good to be true” was in the back of my mind, but it has proved to be really useful on the two BMW’s in my family. Having bought, and returned immediately, a cheaper diagnostic, which was as useful as a chocolate fireguard, this is a world apart. Communicates with all systems on the cars, although a little slowly, brings up VIN and car details automatically, displays all fault codes whether stored, pending or current and allows you to investigate and delete spurious items before getting to any real issues. Allows you to reset service items and even tell the smart charging system that you have replaced the battery. In conclusion, it is early days yet, but initial thoughts, from a qualified mechanic, is that I am quite impressed by the functionality of this machine and that it seems quite durably built, so a big thumbs up from me.

this reader works well and is easy to use, but DON'T BUY IT IF YOU WANT TO USE IT ON ANY OTHER MANUFACTURER. The reader was a US model and so the 'mall' function to buy other vehicle software will NOT WORK IN THE UK. I cannot register it or get software support. only found this out about 6 weeks later when I tried to add a Skoda pack. now I cannot return it to amazon and no one will help as I cannot register it or get uk suppliers to even talk to me - real pity as it works ok! amazon did not make this clear and reach reviews make you think it's easy to add packages!

This is a brilliant bit of kit and has helped me out various times since my purchase. But my advice would be, don't fiddle too much with settings that you're unsure about. I managed to accidentally reset my DDE CAS, resulting in my car only turning over, but not firing. And I got an error code - EWS tampering. I managed to sort the error, by reverting to original values for the DDE CAS and then I was able to start the car again. But definitely be careful. Overall, I am very happy with this product. It really is great value for money, it's very easy to use and it is a nice size device. It is handy being so portable, as I just keep it stowed away in my car, so it's always close by, if I need it. There are a ton of free features on this device, there are even some special functions and it is a great buy!

I have tried to contact the manufacturers but have had no response. Hence this review. The 30 plus special functions are not pre-loaded on the scanner and it seems as though the only way in which to get them is to purchase them in the Mall (their online shop) - plus they are then only valid for 1 year (no updates after that). Dont waste your money if you want these special functions as I did. I guess it is capable of doing all the things that it says it can as long as you are prepared to pay for each function - all priced as separate purchases from the Mall. I am returning this product.

A good little odb2 reader, often use it when servicing my car.

I used it for my BMW E46 N42. It determines my VIN number automatically and then proceeds to diagnose the car. It does a good job in diagnosing problems. I also used to measure my Live air intake. I have not used it for programming or resetting so I cant comment on them.

Por su precio vale la pena, es rápido con infinidad de funciones aunque el modo de acceder a ellas sea menos intuitivo que el sistema de autel y te hace rebuscar más. La primera vez es necesario conectarse a red wifi pero después funciona sin red. No estoy 100% seguro de que la renovación de licencia sea gratuita para siempre porque da lugar a dudas. Una pega es que a la hora de ver las gráficas es inservible, no se aprecia nada, ni la escala ni los datos por su reducido volumen de pantalla aunque se pueden ver datos en valor numérico en modo lista, por lo que no es mucho problema. Es bueno sobretodo a la hora de diagnosticar, muy claro y directo al fallo, al contrario que autel. Para ciertas calibraciones/codificaciones es necesario conectar otros terminales externos en muchos casos pero se ofrece a comprar en la marca.

There are several aspects of the Creader Elite tool that stand out to make it the top of my list when I'm working on a Mercedes. The first part I really like is the amount of information that I can get access to with this tool. The software on the tool will communicate with every module on the vehicles I work on (I work as an auto technician and have for 28 years). Being able to see what the computers see as the inputs and outputs is crucial to accurately diagnosing these vehicles. Since there are anywhere from 10-60 modules on modern Mercedes controlling everything on the vehicle I want to see which ones have codes and be able to run tests to see what isn't working. The second thing that is really impressive is the depth that the software has to not only see the datastream but perform actuation tests as well as go through and perform calibrations and service functions. Having these abilities means this tool can perform resets and in many cases do dealer level service functions. The third thing I find really helpful about the Creader Elite is just how easy it is to use and navigate. The main menu is laid out very well and the speed of the processor is easily on par with other scan tools I have. The service functions can quickly be accessed from the home screen so instead of having to navigate to the correct module to perform a function you can go right to the menu and get to it quickly. Updating this tool has been super easy when updates are available there's a little red icon on the update button and it is just a few clicks to get the most up to date software. This Creader can also make a shareable report showing the results of the testing and then send that to either your own email or a customer's email which makes this really professional and perfect for pre-scan and post-scan showing that a code is now gone or making sure what codes were present when a technician started working on a vehicle. Something else I have really liked about this tool is that there is no battery for me to maintain or worry about. Almost all my other tools I have to make sure they are charged because many of them won't power up from 0% and still run the operating system so it throws a wrench into my process having to wait but not with this tool I can jump right into diagnosis. Overall I have zero issues recommending this tool because of the functionality of the software the ease of use and depth of information and functions this little tool can do it's an easy choice.
