i was looking for vintage lighting for my kitchen and all the local stores were $6.00 to $8.00 per bulb. This pack was far less money and they are great. The lighting quality matched the advertised look and the color is perfect. I also like that they are solid, not cheap glass.

The output on these bulbs is comparable to a normal 25 watt incadescent, maybe not even that bright. Not much light at all but that is exactly what I wanted. It's not much more than you might get from a few candles, same amber glow as well. Also, they look great in my 100 year old light fixtures. Very little if any heat produced which is also what I needed for my fragile old fixtures.

THE GOOD These are beautiful bulbs & larger than they appear. This was not a bad thing for me since my fixture can accommodate nearly any size bulb. The golden glow of these bulbs is warm & inviting, even in the daytime. I worried they might be blinding since the bottom of the bulbs would be exposed, but they're easy on the eyes. Really lovely. They screwed into my old standard fixture perfectly without me having to fiddle with them, unlike some bulbs I've bought in the past that felt like the threading was off. These bulbs elevate my old ugly fixture & make my kitchen feel cozier. THE BAD Out of the package of four, one bulb didn't work when I put it in. I even took it out & put it in again in case it just didn't seat right for some reason, but still no luck. Upon inspection, one of the filaments was broken & hanging loose, so it wasn't going to work no matter what. These were expensive bulbs for me. I normally wouldn't pay this much for 4 bulbs, so I'm disappointed I didn't get all I paid for. I'll buy these again if they last. I'd happily change this to 5 stars if they replaced the bulb that didn't work or refunded me for one bulb. The bulbs that work deserve 5 stars, so it was hard for me to knock off a star -- but an issue is an issue. So, these a 5-star lights, getting a 4-star rating because 1 out of 4 didn't work. They were packed carefully. They come with all 4 individually packaged inside another box. Each single box was decent thickness cardboard & the bulb inside was wrapped in bubble wrap. The single boxes fit firmly inside the outer box, so there's no slapping around inside. This is the first day I've had them in use & I'll report back if they burn out fast or have any issues.

Being extremely sensitive to most types of light, makes finding lightbulbs for my house that I can tolerate. I turn the light on with these bulbs in and it feels like a warm hug. The instant pain that occurs even with several types of incandescent bulbs (to say nothing of horrible LED bulbs) just doesn’t happen with these. The light is warm and welcoming and so far we haven’t had any problems with them as far as functionality or quality. I’m thankful to have found these.

I build custom lighting and offer my clients led versions typically. I came across these vintage style incandescent 11.8 inch Edison bulbs. Thou not as bright, I feel they better suit the piece than the LED equivalent. If you have a project these are worth the investment
