A: Well, like most stuff we get on Amazon……CHINA!

**Q: How many watts?**
A: This is not the best for large family, but for single folk it is good. It is 750 watts.

**Q: Whats the difference between the 1027 and 1027# besides the $2 difference in price?**
A: I seriously don't think there is any real difference it's basically the same toaster ..I found a Hamilton brand name toaster at my local grocery store for 10 less than these on Amazon and it's fantastic, so u might be better off scoping out ur grocery stores, I found mine at Kroger
