My iPhone X detects this qi charger (the charging symbol appears), but after waiting two hours, the charge didn't increase a single percent. I tested this with my 10W iPad USB adapter. The phone and charger were also extremely warm. My phone charges fine with other qi chargers. Not sure if this unit is defective or just doesn't work with the iPhone X.EDIT: I'm bumping my rating up to three stars, primarily due to their customer service.. The manufacturer reached out to me and sent me a replacement charger free of charge. The replacement kinda worked with my iPhone X, but the charger had to be perfectly aligned with the center of the phone. They need to increase the charge area otherwise it's practically useless.Nevertheless, their support was stellar and they even explained they'll take this feedback to improve their next version of the product. This is how companies should treat customers and iterate their production cycles.

Was skeptical of buying this one because of few reviewers. But bought one; used it with Lumia 950; was really surprised, it works really well. Tried magnetic holder without charging feature, the phone tends to pivot / swing due to "tugging" of the charging cord connected to the phone. With this one this problem is eliminated; the cord is attached to the charging holder.Bought a second one for my wife. Using it with Moto Z (with wirelless charging mod) and it works great.The best part: using it with Waze for navigation, I expected that the phone would loose charge under the load of nav/gps. But I was pleasently wrong! the phone gained charge even in this mode.

Excellent product. The clamp is much more solid than what I used to have, which sometimes popped off when I hit a bump. This one stays anchored no matter what. Plus the clamp sets the phone further out from the vent so your AC can flow into the car without being stopped when your phone is on the mount. Another plus, the swivel lets you aim the phone to avoid glare off the back window - and stays aimed even while driving on rough roads. The charger works perfectly. What a benefit that your phone is charging whenever you put it on the mount. Without having to fumble with a plug while in traffic. The magnets (which are only on the outer portion of the circular base) were the only issue I had, and that because the back of my LG phone is curved. The curvature means that only the center part of the phone is in contact. I put the supplied ring on the inside of my case, and formed it a little to accommodate the phone's curve. It has held fine ever since.

Well worth the purchase. Magnet hold is strong. I have an IPhone 8+. It holds it in place in any position I set it in. The swivel head is strong and doesn’t droop when turning or going over bumps. The grip on the heat vent is super strong and will fit 99% of heat vent styles.It goes well with any interior and doesn’t clash/standout like an eyesore.The magnetic hold is strong but you will have to place the steel ring inside your phone case. The ring will pull off your case if you place it on the outside. That being said your case cannot be too thick or it will interfere with magnets grip. My case is a clear Speck case with 6’ fall protection. My original 10’ fall protection case was too thick to allow a good magnetic connection.You can also look online and purchase a magnetic case that allows Qi charging.

This charger performs as advertised. Fit easily on the vents in my 2014 Acura RDX. Did not have to use the magnetic ring that was provided. The magnetic charger was powerful enough to hold my Samsung Galaxy S8. The company gave me great customer service when I had an issue with hooking it up. Very responsive.

Really fantastic! It begins to charge after I put the phone on the effective position. I love this convenient and simple designs. The magnetic is strong enough to hold my Samsung Galaxy S8 well. Maybe it only applies to use with a thin phone case, I had tried a thick case with metal ring nearly 5-6mm. The charging wasn't stable with a too thick case. In general, Highly Recommend.

The charger works fine. But the magnet is super weak. Not to happy to see my $900 phone bouncing off my consol and into the floor

3 days into having this item it overheated constantly and eventually melted.
