gift to my twin boys, age 6. they'd been wanting a chain, i thought this was perfect, they love Jesus. the chain is very sturdy, the cross nice, shiny. comes nicely packaged and a soft cleaning cloth also, very pleased with it, most importanly by kids love to wear it!

I didn't get the black gold, so am unsure why this review request is saying black gold. I got the white gold - the silver. I got it as a backup to a previous purchase of this necklace, that I wear all the time. It is very well-made, beautiful, and small - just what I wanted.:) My previous purchase is holding up very well, so I anticipate this one to, also.:)
