Q: What is the size of the set screw for the 1.5" bore collar? is it m8?

i don't think it would be metric. probably 5/16-18, which is about m8 dimension.

Q: Are the set screws furnished and are they 304 stainless as well?

Yes the set screws where included.

Q: Would this work as a standard barbell clamp?

Barbell clamps are easy to use and quick to use. These "clamps" need an allen wrench to tighten and to be safe, a small indentation for the "allen" set screw to lock into. So my answer is no.

Q: What size is the allen bolt on the 5/8" one? i have tried every metric and allen wrench i have they are all either to small or too large.

I have 1/2 inch bore collars and a 1/8” Allen wrench fits perfect
