Why do my speakers connect but I have no sound?

Can i use the aux input to connect my phone, so i can then transmit to bluetooth speakers? (i need to boost the phone's signal)

It should transmit any audio signal to Bluetooth devices (headphones, speakers, etc.), provided that the signal is inputted through either the 3.5mm aux input jack or the optical TOSLINK connection. If your phone does not come with a 3.5mm audio output jack, you have to buy an adopter cable.
