ECS WordHear-O 3.5mm Transcription Headset, Under Chin Style

The cord is really long. Probably too long. Sounds good. I like the ability to clip to my shirt to keep it from getting in the way while typing. Plugs into my asus computer snugly.

These headphones work very well for me. I’ve been using them consistently for over a month. I wear them most of the day, 5 days a week for work, typing legal transcripts. I have small ears so am always a little concerned headphones that go in my ears will be uncomfortable or just not fit. These are actually quite comfortable. These headphones don’t put a dent in my hair because they’re worn below your head (hanging down from your ears). They stay in place and don’t get in the way of my arms or keyboard because they come with a clip to clip the wire to your collar or shirt. The sound quality is very good for what I use them for. When people talk over each other or the quality of a recording could be better, I find these work better than my Bose around-the-ear headphones I was previously using for this job. Maybe these are made specifically to listen to talking and Bose are more for listening to music. I’m not sure. But these sound great!

The headphones are great and clear. They do their job. Only thing I hate about them is the length of the cord. It is massive. I’m not sure who needs a cord that long but It’s constantly getting tangled in my other cords and just way to long. Wish there was a reel on it or some better way to clip it up to shorten it. What they had just doesn’t work.

Just arrived in the mail safe and sound. Works fine so far. It is not high quality sound, but that is to be expected for the price. It has a handy switch that allows you to use both mono and stereo 3.5mm jacks. The wire is pretty good quality and is quite long. Perfect for transcribers or folks who still have the old-school recorders that had only mono output jacks. It includes a bag that holds it, but is only thin cloth. You get quite a few extra ear pieces which is nice. I will have to buy something sturdier to store it, more than likely from any dollar store, no problemo.

I wear a headset for 8+ hours a day so comfort is a must but clarity is a priority. This is the closest replacement I have found after Sony discontinued the MDR-U10M about 10 years ago. These are very, very comfortable and the sound is very clear. I could do without the inline volume/sterero/mono control. My computer has those adjustments so I do not need the duplication and rarely need to raise/lower the volume, if ever. If I do need to change the volume, it can be done more conveniently from my keyboard. I do not want anything clipped to me as I tend to get up/down throughout the day and that would be a hassle. It is just long enough to rest on my keyboard table so I do not clip it. The cord is super long which I leave bundled up. I do like how it is a braided cord though. All this being said, I will be ordering a second pair for backup because these are the most comfortable pair I have found in years with no distortion of dictated voice.

It has awesome stereo sound. The volume is wonderful. On my old headset I was having trouble hearing some of the things the doctors said. This makes them crisp and clear. The only think I don't like is that you have to clip it somewhere on your clothes because the volume control adds weight to one side. The 10 foot cord is really good for being able to move around but with the clip you won't jerk it off your head. I wish the headset was a little tighter but overall I give it an A+

This set of headphones was great for me because I wear a behind the ear hearing aid. I can set the phones at the top of my ear where the hearing aid microphone is. I can't use ear buds. It is more comfortable than over the head headphones. And cooler. Unfortunately, the wire got a short in it right at the plug and about two weeks after the return period. I'm going to look for another brand but the same type.

I am a medical transcriptionist, so I need to very clearly hear doctor's dictations. These earphones work just as well, with as good sound quality, as $100 earphones I have purchased in the past. They are comfortable in the ear. They have a removable clip so you can clip the earphone to your clothing, but I am up and down so many times during the day, that would be annoying; the clip is easily removable. The volume control is also a stereo or monaural control. For the price, these are as good as the really expensive earphones.

Bought these for my mum for work. They've been great, she says they're comfy and the volume is good.

I love this headset! Comfortable and easy to use. Plug in and ready to listen. Very clear. The curd is nice and it is long to keep plugged in and keep listening if you have to get up. ❤️❤️❤️

Disappointed with these - the sound is very muffled and the top volume isn't very loud either. However I kept them as needed urgently for work. Will be looking for a better set.
