My kids love this thing! I would suggest the frozen sausage links already cooked and the normal pancake mix from the box. I have tried browning my own sausage but it's too greasy and the homemade mix didn't seem to fluff up as much. Overall this product is awesome and my kids can even make their own food now, that's a bit healthier then the store bought ones for $1 each or more

I had expected full corndog size but these were about half sized. The process was messy because you were expected to spoon extra batter into the mold, and the end of the skewer was super sharp, which meant I had to be extremely careful when I stabbed it into the hotdog so I wouldn't impale my fingers. It was a nice novelty item but I wont use it more than once or twice. Too much clean up hassle.

Corndog maker works just like any other electric cooker. But when they say recipe book included. Image attached, not so. See attached picture, recipe book is one page. I would still recommend this corn dog maker even so.

Bought like new. Original box. Came loose in the box with no protecting anything . Busted beyond repair. One of those times when should have paid the extra for new. Looks like it would have been really nice and just what I could use and enjoy. Oh, well you live and learn.

The recipient was thrilled when she received this for her Birthday!!! I even ordered one for myself because I wanted to be assured it would be easy for her to use. It is! And she loved it!

It works very well once you get the mixture right? Just wished they were a little longer other than that works very well.

The moment I opened the box my two girls wanted to try a corndog. The recipe was great and easy to follow and the whole process was quick and turned out great. My girls enjoyed them. I will definitely be using this corndog maker again and again. Even though the recipe book doesn't give you a variety of recipes I have already thought of so many way that you can have a variety of different corn dogs. Like wrapping them in bacon or placing a piece of cheese in the middle of the weiner. Even my two 8 year olds had ideas of their own for interesting corn dogs and even cakes on a stick. I think we are going to have such fun as a family using this corndog maker.
