After 5 months of using these, I needed to update the review that I wrote previously below. The amplifiers work great, but the charging system not so much. The automatic on/off turns off while you are wearing them, and after some messing around, I think its the charging system that's the problem. I have to keep retrying to charge them to work. By placing them in the charger over and over again after the lights turn green, seems to allow them to charge, but the lights turn green when they are clearly not charged.Previous ReviewThis aid works very well for the money. It's simple and I really like the auto on/off function. I tried a more expensive set before trying these and regardless of the cost difference, I like these much better. They amplify the sound very well and they don't have any drop out in low sound environments. The only thing that is a little annoying is that they crackle with loud rattle type noises. They take a little getting used to. I like wearing one ear most the time and that works really well, but for playing my guitar, I use both of them, and they sound great.

This device sometimes work but often make a pitched squealing noise when adjusting volume or sometimes even just by touching the device. May be some loose contact inside causing a feedback loop. Badly designed or badly assembled.

The concept of having an over-the-counter hearing aid that isn’t cost prohibitive is great. Unfortunately, if the battery doesn’t last more than a minute on one side and never works ob the other, then it’s just junk.

i got these and was really looking forward to using them ... at the time i was using the as seen on TV ones ... i put these in my ear and was hit with a LOUD noise as i put them in ... it stopped and i went to turn them up and got a blast of noise .... that you have to pull them out of your ear ... the only thing i could tell you about the noise is like going to a heavy metal concert and sitting with your ear on the speaker .... after you get them in your ear and set to the loudness to hear people they work great ... BUT DO NOT TOUCH ... don't lean on your hand don't let your anything anywhere near them or you get that noise again .... they been in for 1 hour and i have a head ache ...

They work good but don’t last past 4 hours!

While this is fairly easy to use the sound quality is not good. Even at low volumes there is a hissing that can be very disconcerting. Trying to change volume unless you have small fingers I’d difficult. Also, when the volume is too high or you touch the hearing aid it puts out a loud screech that is vey uncomfortable. I am going to buy a more expensive set.

The right hearing aid stopped working after a few days. The left hearing aid stopped working after 2 months. The email for support is invalid.
