Silpat The Original Round Cake Liner Non-Stick Silicone Baking Mat, 8", AH197-01

I bought this so I would no longer have to use tin foil in the toaster oven. It's also great to put on the microwave turntable instead of a plate or to cover food in bowls temporarily. It slightly overlaps the edge of my toaster oven baking tray, but it works just fine. The instructions say you can use it up to 500 degrees F. Easy to clean with soap and water. I store it with my small baking trays to keep it flat. I have one other Silpat product as well -- they're pricy, but good quality. I don't know why I didn't think of this before.

Using it in my Dutch oven for sourdough bread, good quality, works as it should & holding up well!

I have been using Silpat liners for cakes a few years now. I gotta say these are amazing. I have them in 8” and 9” rounds and have baked a bunch of cakes. I have yet to have one stick yet. I basically grease the sides really good and also grease the silpat liner with butter. My cakes release great every time. They are also very easy to clean. I just rinse and scrub them really good with hot water and soap. To dry them I fold a paper towel a few times and swipe across them lightly to remove excess water. I then hang them for a few hours to air dry. Great value and super easy to use. Way easier than cutting parchment paper every time you bake a cake. They will last a very long time so to me they are a great investment and a must have.

Love these mats. Use for cooking which makes cleaning a snap. But what is most amazing about the mats is use on the nuwave PIC. Keeps the top clean (perfect fit with no scratches) and the pots and pans do not slide around the PIC. If there is a boil over no problem. Just blot up and keep cooking. Use in the bottom of the nuwave oven also. Getting ready to buy more. Love them.

This is the silicone brand I trust. I use it for all of baking sheets and my sourdough baker. I love the quality and the ease of cleaning and the ability to take high heat.

I like to make very thin cake layers to stack up with custard in between. I was using parchment rounds in the cake pans. They worked great for getting the cakes out of the pans, but slipped around a lot while trying to spread 1/2 cup of batter around an 8-inch pan. I tried this to see if it stayed in place. It does and makes it much easier to get the batter in the pan. Peels of the cake easily. It does leave a thin layer of cake stuck to it, but so does parchment. This is worth it if you are making a lot of thin layers. Don't think I would spend this much if I was making regular thickness.

This is an excellent brand. Definitely nonstick. And, in case this is of interest, I needed/ wanted a size to fit an 11 × 10" pan for our toaster oven. That size isn't available ...but but ! The hexagon covers * most* of the pan. Terrific!

We have used these for years in our funky Panasonic infrared toaster oven to cover the tray when baking or reheating. They fit perfectly and make clean up quick and easy. We usually keep them 2 or 3 years - they would probably still work longer but seeing how much we use them, it is money well spent.

My wife loves this product and it does not disappoint. Serious ki gs and queens of the kitchen need this product in their kitchen. Top shelf.

I purchased this based on a You Tube video by Steve from Serious Keto for 90 second keto tortillas. Poured the tortilla batter onto the liner, spread it around and then popped it into the microwave and when I took it out it easily peeled right off the liner! Couldn't be more pleased!

Excellent quality silicon mat for microwave oven platter. I like using to avoid porcelain and glass surfaces from being placed directly on to the platter that is made with porcelain. An advantage of a silicon type surface it stops items from slipping. Before using a silicon type mat on the microwave oven platter I was using paper towels, or a plastic dish that is microwave oven safe. If you need a silicon mat larger than 10.25 inches for your microwave oven, you can find in this same manufacture Silpat in larger diameter silicon mats. I have a ceramic top cooking range that is induction technology. I bought a number of the round silicon mats in different sizes to use between the pots and the cooking positions called pods. This helps to protect the ceramic surface from being scratched. I also bought rectangular mats to cover the oven racks inside my oven. This helps to prevent a mess from any spilling. Silpat products are of high quality and are long term reliable.
