Didn't need a knife set, but fir decor it's really very attractive on the counter top. Glad I purchased it.

Do not buy this knife set. It is the worst I’ve ever tried. It’s very dangerous.. It doesn’t come with a knife sharpener either but the direction say to sharpen before use. Even after sharpening, they still aren’t sharp. They wouldn’t cut through potatoes or tomatoes or any vegetable. It was like cutting with the plastic knife. These are horrible and the return policy sucks. I’m calling the knives manufacturer in the morning and let them know that they need to stop selling this product or at least Cell sharpened knives and add a sharp sharpener, so people can continue to sharpen their knives. They are beautiful. I give it that. But as far as everything else goes, it’s just trash.

I just moved in with my fiancee and was in the market for a starter knife block set. I saw these Oster Knives and decided to give them a try even with some of the bad reviews. I loved the color. The set is really great. However, the knives are extremely dull. The scissors wouldn't even cut thru saran wrap. I feel as though these knives are very cheaply made. The handles have good grips but you have to use a ton of force to cut anything, Very disappointed. Back to searching I go..

Bought Oster 91607.14 Lindbergh 14 Piece Stainless Steel Cutlery Set, Black, open box for $16.81, at this price it was little or no risk, Arrived in good/new condition other than the box was a bit damaged, The quality of the knicves is more thann acceptable, even at full price they arent the worst knives you could buy, not the sharpest but they are all serated and will do work and I can sharpen them more when I think I need to. I am very satisfied with this purchase. Thanks for a lovely product! Also for those complaining the handles are plastic and come apart, don't expose them to un nessasary heat and its a 40 dollar knife set, don't expect the quality of a Japanese katana <3

Chegou até antes do prazo, veio certinho. As facas todas contem um tipo de serrinha, o corte é ótima. Fica lindo na bancada esse faqueiro.

The knife is very dull and blunt, so bad that it doesn't even cut. I have to saw through a clove of garlic and not cut them.....total trash.....

Honestly, I love this knife block. It's a great combination of universal and speciality knives. The only MINOR (and I do mean minor) drawback is that it doesn't come with a knife sharpener. Otherwise, every single knife (and kitchen sheers) works awesome. I would recommend this to just about anyone in the market for a new, stylish knife block. The colour is true to the photo, by the by.
