Looks really nice, and stays ticking overnight if you wear it a full day. The automatic system feels premium and high quality. And I like the “micro-ticks” between seconds. It feels like a nice upgrade from entry level watches!

Ho acquistato questo Seiko cercando un orologio che avesse un rapporto qualità/prezzo ottimo, e dopo averlo tenuto al polso per un po’ posso dire che le aspettative sono state confermate. Il quadrante blu è il vero punto di forza: non è un blu piatto, ma ha una profondità che cambia molto in base alla luce, passando da tonalità scure a riflessi più accesi (allego foto e video). Il contrasto con i dettagli argentati è azzeccato, perché gli dà quel tocco particolare senza renderlo eccessivo o pacchiano. A livello costruttivo si sente che è un Seiko. La cassa ha un bel peso, dà un'idea di solidità e le finiture dell'acciaio sono fatte bene. Il bracciale è comodo e la chiusura è solida. Tecnicamente è un automatico onesto. Non aspettatevi la precisione al secondo di un orologio al quarzo, ma per l'uso quotidiano è affidabile e la riserva di carica copre tranquillamente il fermo notturno. In sintesi: non è un orologio di lusso da migliaia di euro, ma non cerca nemmeno di sembrarlo. È un pezzo concreto, con un movimento meccanico collaudato e un'estetica che si fa notare il giusto. Per chi cerca un automatico da portare tutti i giorni che sia affidabile e ben rifinito, è una scelta che mi sento di consigliare. Idem come idea regalo. Promosso.

It's my first automatic watch and I am really satisfied. A detail though: The first thing I did is removing the bracelet, not because of bad quality but because I much prefer the looks with a leather strap. The build is robust, glass is very good and resists occasional bumps and scratches. Dial is beautiful. Movement is good with 2-3 mins delay after a 7-10 days. Size 40mm is perfect for slim wrists (18,5cm). Battery is around 40 hours as described. It is an excellent option for the first automatic for anyone. Besides is a Seiko, quality is guaranteed. Definitely an overlooked model.

Bought as a gift. Looks very smart. I am sure the recipient will be pleased.
