Not great but not as bad as some reviews.- No, the lampshade isn't included and you have to read carefully to notice it.- the add says it uses a UNO fitter type shade attachment, but the UNO fitter attachment isn't included (UNO fitter is the attachment device that snaps directly to the light bulb with a finial on top.)- The bulb socket doesn't have an ON/Off switch. Rather, the switch is on the cord three feet from the lamp.- I easily replaced the bulb socket with a kit from Home Depot that included a twist switch and a traditional lampshade harp (the wire hoop with a finial on top to attach the lampshade. $12.50.) I bought a 6" x 19" lampshade on Amazon for $50. The overall result is very nice.- Restoration Hardware sells this exact table lamp (probably built at the same factory in India) for $600 plus $60 for shipping (because they won't let you pick it up from the store.) I got the same thing including the price of the lampshade for $220.

After the first one arrived with missing parts and was returned, the replacement fell apart while still in the box. Assembled it and it's operation ( and I use that term laughingly) is not reliable. Maybe they should have put a little more money in the socket and switch, I am thankful it did not burn my house down. Will I return it? NO!! They would just send it out to some other unsuspecting customer who may not be as lucky as myself to catch this fire hazard. Lesson learned, no more lamps online.

Dislike.I spent over a hundred dollars for a lamp base with no lamp shade. The picture displays a complete lamp shade and all. Nothing in the description states otherwise. Unfortunate
