ZAAP Darts Heavy Duty Pro Dartboard Surround Single Piece Wall Protector

This is a heavy duty polymer (rubber) product that comes in one piece. Having said that, it is a bit snug trying to fit it around the board. I have a Unicorn Eclipse Pro and I had to push and pull a bit to get it on. I have hit this twice and the holes heal fairly well. You really have to get up close and examine the ring to see them.I will say that I can't compare this product to the other ones that are made of foam and are like puzzle pieces, since I have never used them. I also have not used this product with a light ring, so I don't know how well that they would work together. But this is definitely a heavy (and heavy-duty) product and I would recommend it if you have a 17 3/4" board.

In the US, it is not easy to get a surround for a decent price, especially if shipping from the UK is factored. Many reviews for various surrounds on Amazon have difficulty getting on some dartboards. It turns out that some boards are 18" in diameter while others are actually 17.75". I have a Gladiator 3+ board, which is 17.75". This surround was a bit difficult to get on, but it does get on with patience for a snug fit. I was worried that my new Target Corona light wouldn't fit too, but there are no problems getting the feet in between.I have hit the surround twice so far and the holes are barely visible. Thankfully, I do not test the durability all that much.If you know your board is 17.75", you should buy this surround without hesitation.

If your dart board is 17.5 inches, this product will fit perfectly. Nice and snug, literally took maybe 2 minutes to install it. Much better than the surrounds that come in 3 or 4 pieces.The quality of this surround is equal to the top surrounds for a fraction of the price. I've put maybe 15 darts into it so far; all the darts stuck even though the point barely penetrated the surround. The material didn't even get a hole, and immediately healed. You can't tell it's been hit.If you are in the market for a top quality surround, this is the one I'd recommend.

I haven’t owned another one to compare this to but it worked great and went on easily enough. I read the complaints about it being too tight but I would imagine that same person might complain if it was too loose and falling off. It’s held on by friction, it needs to be tight. Literally took me 2 minutes to put it on.

Bought this basing on good reviews but what I got was a torn up box with a over painted logo. On top of that, this surround seems to be smaller than it's competitors. I had a really hard time putting it in on my unicorn hd2, winmau blade 5 and one80 gladiator 3. It's too tight specially when adding my corona vision light. Almost broke one of the legs. Tried to reach out to their cs but no reply. Spend extra and get a known brand.

This is much better quality than my old Viper surround. It's a little thicker and lot denser so my dart tips don't go through to the wall anymore. It's a very tight fit on my Unicorn Eclipse Pro so it took some work to get on, but not a huge deal.

It has a nice tight fit. A little hard to get on but that is how it should be. Looks nice! Protects the wall! I NEVER miss the board but if I did it doesn’t show!
