Effective unit, even mounted upside down on the ceiling
Effective unit for distribution of cool air from central vents to the back seat, have confirmed with my son that the fan is "awesome" and provides ample blowing power. Currently have it mounted upside down on the center console of the roof of my Jeep Cherokee, pivot function does show signs of abnormal operation in this position but still operates flawlessly (it will stick and delay for a short period of time when pivoting on the one motor, assuming the mechanism is not press fit and a gear or two is just slightly out of place - have not disassembled yet to verify).Purchased to help provide air conditioned air to the backseat for summer vacation. After having been mounted upside down for two weeks and going over all kinds of rough / light bumps and being bumped into by our arms, this unit has held up admirably and allowed our two kids to stay cool on our summer vacation.Added bonus - people complain about this unit being only a 5 volt fan (USB powered plug vs 12 volt socket style plug) but they don't realize you can take this fan with you if you want and plug it into a portable power bank, giving you the ability to take this twin powered rotating fan and providing *portable* cooling power like when your 1 year old is napping down at the beach. Sand free cooling capabilities inside a tent while napping help solve beach time napping conundrums!Update 10/31/2022: unit is still hanging upside down from the center console in my car, still properly oscillates and still is just as effective as the day I got it. Second summer and now second fall, I get frequent requests from the kids to turn the fans down or off due to their effectiveness. For reference, I have both center vents in my Cherokee pointed up and to the center where the fans are, which then take the air and blow it straight back onto my kids. Solid thumbs up and recommendation from me!

Awesome little fan for car or desk usage
I bought the single fan to cool down my dog on hot days in the car but ended up mounting as a desk fan because it's so efficient in terms of noise to airflow. As others mentioned, I bought this under the assumption that it uses a 12v cigarette adapter which is not the case. However, as a USB fan, its pretty amazing.- There's 3 speeds with the first 2 being mostly quiet, the 3rd is quite loud but it blows hard.- Comes with 3 attachments: - Vent clip (not sure who would use this) - Headrest clip - Suction cup with some reuseable adhesive on it (think those adhesives you use to mount things in the bathroom mirror)- Uses standard ball mount so you can use a lot of other car accessory mounts too- No battery (a big plus if you plan to leave this in a hot car)- All plastic build (not that durable but you won't hear any rattling)All in all, not what I was expecting but came out much better.

Lasting so far. 3 speeds are good. Slight rattle sometimes. Bulky clips but secure. Good fan.
So far so good after many months of steady use in my car camper. Size of fan is good. The clips seem kind of bulkier than they need to be, but they hold securely. The three speeds are very useful to both get the air moving quickly on medium or high, and being mindful of energy consumption on low setting. The line switches work well. I have two of the fans run into a power brick which will run them both for hours if needed. I don’t usually need to run both, but it’s useful to clear the air quickly from a space. I subtract a star because they can rattle at times, requiring you to adjust them to find a sweet quiet hum, and for the bulky clips. They work great.

Keeps my dog cool in the back seat
Got this for my car to keep my dog cool in the back seat. Works perfectly and was easy to install to the headrest. It has three fan settings and actually turns off when you turn the car off so no worries about it draining the battery. When you turn the car back on you turn the fan back on, it doesn’t auto on.

Its a fan.. :l
[edit]My original review was a little harsh. I guess I was expecting miracle results and that definitely reflected in my words. To be fair, the fan does it's job. It blows air. So A+ product for that. It reminds me a lot of a fan inside a desktop computer. It also has that same sound. The one thing I did find strange is that the on/button on the cable is the thing that warmed up with use. Guess it's the circuits in there. Anyways. It's alright if you just want some subtle air flow. Very cheap too. Plus the brand name was called "Wang Fan," so A+ to that. ;)[original]I don't know what I was expecting. In my foolishness I thought this would help keep me cool in the hotter months. But alas, it does what a fan does - blows the air at its current temperature. Therefore, this did not help me, as it was merely blowing hot air around in my car. Guess I'll keep the windows down until I get my a/c fixed. :l
