It really works and exceptional value for money.
Much better than the VHS Head Cleaners I have used in the past and made a dramatic difference to the picture quality of my old tapes. A+++

Cleans well
Transfering old VCR tapes to digital. Not used the machine or tapes for many years. Without it the first tapes I tried jumped and jittered. Ran the cleaner and they play great. Running it every third or fourth tape to be sure.

Best cleaning tapes out there!
These are among the few of the excellent types of cleaning tapes still available in my opinion! Due to the material used to actually clean the video heads as well you can, AS AN OPTION, add 1-2 drops of isopropyl alcohol (SMALL DROPS!) to the strip underneath the flap at the back of the tape if your VCR has very dirty heads (otherwise NOT needed!) - These tapes have brought back to life some pro studio VCR equipment i had in storage and have only recently begun needing to use again so if you need those video heads cleaned? Get these cleaning tapes! As i say if your video heads are only lightly dirty (so the picture is a little distorted and tracking adjustments dont fix it) pop this tape in for 5-7seconds and then try again. If the video heads are critically dirty (very bad picture, tracking adjustments dont help or make it worse and your 100% sure the tape itself is in good condition) then pop some SMALL DROPS of isopropyl alcohol across the white strip underneath the back of the tape flap and let the tape run for 9-12seconds, eject, wait about a minute and then try again - Have tried both ways (with and without some drops of isopropyl) and each time i have had success in getting a crisp clear picture afterwards. If you try this yourself and still get bad results it is possible the tape itself has degraded/oxidised too much or the video heads are beyond saving so keep this in mind as no matter what, the video heads of a VCR will not last forever and go through their own states of degradation over time and will wear down. If you do use isopropyl alcohol at any point then consider that cleaning tape as 'one use only' and that once its at the end, dispose of it versus winding it back and using again (as these types of tape are typically able to be used more than once when reaching the end for light cleaning which is why there are all those checkboxes you can tick off)

Worthwhile purchase, which actually works.
I bought this product, as i found an old JVC VHS recorder in my parents garage, during a clear out. Out of morbid curiosity, i wanted to see if this unit still worked, even though it was caked in a couple of decades of garage crud and mouse dropping were found inside. As part of the clean up i wanted to clean the heads. But thinking that the VHS unit was beyond dead i didn't want to spend too much on a head cleaner. Nor did i want the faff of using the liquid cleaner process. So this was bought with little of hope of it actually working. After getting a vacuum and air duster in the unit to clean it out, i tried a VHS tape to see if anything would appear on the screen. All I could hear was sound, that was muffled and warbled, there was no image on the screen. I popped in the cleaning tape, let it run to the end, swapped it out with the normal tape and there was an improvement. The sound was clear, but still no images. All in all, i used the head cleaner 8 times to get to a point where sound was clear and the image was stable, without any distortions. So a great value product that does work well. It just depends on how dirty the heads are, but you will see improvement.

Very Good Customer Support
Very goog customer support. 1st one arrived promptly but wouldn't work. I emailed link4customers and a replacement was sent out without quibble. This one works. That's good customer service. 4 stars - not 5, to reflect that one product didn't work

Utile pour passer un petit coup sur les têtes de lecture d'un magnétoscope VHS, surtout lorsque l'on ne s'est pas servi du magnétoscope depuis un certain temps pour regarder ou sauvegarder numériquement de vieux souvenirs
