Pet Carrier Insert Pads Size Medium 23.5in x 15.5in Yellow - 2 Pack

I was looking for something to place in the bottom of my dogs' crates for when I flew them from Hawaii to Alabama. I came across these on Amazon and decided to give them a try. I'm happy to say they absolutely worked as intended! When my oldest dog was flown from Alabama to Hawaii, he unfortunately had soiled himself and was huddled towards the back of the crate to stay away from the wet spots. But this time the crates were both completely dry. Unfortunately again, it wasn't from lack of urine since you could obviously smell it, but the pads at least helped my dogs not have to sit in it for hours at a time.I was very happy with this product and would definitely purchase again if I needed to. And for reference, the medium pads fit crates roughly 28Lx20Wx21H in size, large enough for two 20 lb Miniature Schnauzers.

Amazing product. I travelled from Europe to the States and then onto Asia and used these pads for my two cats every day of the trip that they had to be in kennels. I could tell that my older boy cat had had some accidents after the long plane rides, but there was no odor and the pads were completely dry. I tested one out of curiosity (dumping 1/8 of white vinegar on one) and it was dry to the touch within 5 minutes and there was no smell. My younger girl cat seemed to appreciate that she could dig her claws into something and hold on :-) I use them now everytime I had put the cats in the kennel.

Great product! Used this to line the kennel for flights from Hawaii to NY- he stayed dry for the entire trip. Wasn't too sure if my shirt absorbed some of his "wee wee", as it was left in there for his comfort on a long flight. My dog was absolutely dry on arrival. Wish I measured the kennel better, as I would have gotten the largest one. Great product and arrived before our departure prior to dog leaving, so we could eye up the quality. No rips or tears in it, as he tore up some kind of cardboard put into kennel, but this pad was in one piece, although saturated. It did what it was supposed to do.

I have used these for several years for flying between countries on long haul flights. The one time I didn't was a complete failure by the pet moving company who put their own product in the cage. Never again! The absorbency is great, one cat did pee on the mat and by the time I received him (9 hour flight), it was dry and he was dry. I could just see the stain. It has some softness for the bottom of the cage to let them sleep on as well. Highly recommended.

I bought two of these for a medium sized carrier. The fit was perfect. Make sure you really look at the dimensions of this versus your carrier though to make sure that it will fit. I flew two cats internationally on these. I don't know if the cats peed on them because they were dry and looked exactly like they did when I put them in there when I picked them up after the flight. The cats were on them for about 12 hours, so I can't imagine they didn't pee or at least spill their water. But the pads were dry at the end of the day. The only problem I had was that they don't actually seem to be washable. It feels like there is cardboard or something inside the pad, keeping it's shape, and when we tried to make it fit into the washing machine, it bent and creased like cardboard. We got nervous, so we didn't wash it. Like some of the other reviewers said, make sure the pad goes on top of a towel or blanket. These are actually pretty soft, but I would add a small blanket or something a little more cushy underneath.

These pads worked exactly as they were supposed to when we had to transport our cats via plane. More importantly, the owner of the company called me personally when my order on Amazon seemed a little funky (I ordered more than I should) and told me all about the product. She put me at ease both about the effectiveness of the product and my own nervousness about transporting my cats by plane. I would highly recommend this product for whatever you are looking to use it for - especially if you are moving animals in crates for longer periods of time. My cats arrived at the airport dry and as happy as cats can be when they've been on an airplane.

Worked brilliantly! Our cat had a flight from Baltimore to Hawaii with a few stops. He arrived dry and the kennel he was in was dry under the mat. He had urinated a few times (could see the spots and smell it) but he was some how scent free. I would definitely recommend this to anyone!
