Better then factory case
Good value for the money . Better then factory case . You need to heat up a rip of a screwdriver and melt the pins holding the board down in place . Once I figured that out it was very easy and works great . Better then expected

Good Quality. Some challenges assembling.
The quality is really nice. I am happy I read another review which talked about the two black tabs on the new cover. The tabs conflict with the black tabs on the motherboard. I needed to clip the tabs on the cover and trim the tabs on the motherboard. I was able to close the cover once that was done.

Better than the original key
Pretty easy to reassemble with the old electronics. Made sure to get a key case so i dont lose the metal piece again. I like this better than the original Range key with the rubberized coating that peels off.

Didn’t fit together
The metal piece won’t align with the side of the black piece. Also had to remove the two prongs in order to fit the actual key “plate” inside… so now i can’t return it for a replacement. It looks janky as hell.

Easy transfer from factory. Fits and functions like it should.

Reviews are correct
Will need wire cutters to trim back the small black pikes you’ll see in both this new case / fob and the existing motherboard. This said, I am the most unhandy person on the planet and was able to do this. Also, attaching the silver end piece isn’t an exact fit - at first. Just have to put a little muscle into it. I keep my original silver Land Rover pieces and attached them, instead, and again, with a little muscle.

Better than OEM design
Excellent quality replacement for our original style keyfob that had the rubber skin peeling away. This case-only looks as if it could have been an OEM. I just had to pop it open and do the same for original the swap the circuit board with battery. I used small wire cutters to trim the plastic mounting posts to height and secured the board at the posts with small blobs of black shoe-goo, then snapped the case halves back together. Works as it should.
