There's nothing efficient about this fan. It's very loud, and makes very little difference. The Index has a narrow series of slots for air to be pushed through, and this fan can't really overcome the pressure to push effectively. I'm not completely blaming this product though, I feel like forced air was a bit of an afterthought with the Index. I have fpv headsets that use a single smaller fan, that pushes more air much quieter. There's just to much restriction of the airway, or their needs to be a more direct path for air to blow over your forehead.For as loud as the fans are, I was really expecting to feel a cool breeze on my sweaty face. But after the fans push the air through the hot Index, it's more like a warm breath.I wanted this to work out, but I really can't recommend these unless it's your only option, and you seriously don't mind the noise. They can make a very minor improvement to fogging, but they didn't even come close to stopping me from sweating

This thing works awesome to cool the system but I feel like the fan should face the opposite direction.. If you turn the fans on after the system has warmed up you get a hot breeze that can make you really motion sick really fast but other then that they function as you'd expect.Update! : I tore it apart finally and flipped the fans around to pull the heat away rather than push it further in towards your face and this thing works 1000 times better! The wiring was a little goffy to fit the other way but it was super easy once I found a screwdriver small enough to get the screws.
