Well made and very strong magnets for their size. Used them under bath to make an access tile. Once on it was holding the tile without any movement. Well spent money!

The gate swings to shut when wheeling my bike out. Too awkward. A set of magnets does the trick. Satisfactory click when they connect. Just the right amount of pull needed to let it swing shut.Just a note: I note that a year later there is some rust on both magnets. Not a problem, however, as they still work perfectly. Only a problem if they are there to show off.

These could be improved by including a dummy magnet with a point in the middle so that the steel washer could be accurately positioned opposite it.Otherwise, brilliant.

I have not given these a great rating as they are much too strong for my purpose. However, that does not mean they are not good for other uses. Beware they are very strong.

Every year, I have a lot of difficulty getting my wall planner to stay up on the wall. Need to use loads of bluetac and then as temperatures change it still ends up falling down. More and more paint was coming of with the blue tac. No more! We have mounted the metal disk screw into the wall (sadly noy wall plugs supplied but had a few the right size kicking around) and the wonderfully strong magnet works on that disk through the wall planner. When I need the new one to go up, will just be simple job to slide off the magnet and replace. I went for the silver finish ones as they were a £1 cheaper than the black. Wish I had discovered these years ago.

I used these magnets as a gate latch. Initially I put 3 side by side, but it was too strong for some people to open the gate. I ended up removing 2 and needed only one. The wind cannot open the gate, and a bump doesn't either. The gate needs a 10 to 20 pound push to disengage the magnet. I'm really glad I went with these magnets.
