Does not work, if the hole size is big. Unless it comes out fully if can't be closed again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review *by F***O on 19 March 2024* I used these to make some workbench 'pop-up' dogs (from a Youtube video) and they work perfectly. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review *by H***N on 8 November 2025* Perfect for dog holes, as previous commenter said, use 11,5 mm drill and they will fit very well. Only thing to add is to take off the 3 little ribs on the push end to make sure the mechanism doesn't get jammed from the pressure.
