Exactly what I was looking for! Worked so well in my terrarium as part of the substrate would definitely recommend/buy again whether for plants or bioactive terrarium(It’s at the very bottom you can’t really see it in the photo)

The pieces of charcoal are the perfect size for mixing with other ingredients to make soil mixes necessary for cacti and epiphytes.

I buy alot of soil and gardening supplies and it's always nice to find a good deal. This a good quality charcoal and the chunks are perfect size for houseplants.

I use a handful of these to the chunky soil I make for my aroids. I also throw in a couple of these in my water props as it filters harmful bacteria 🦠🧫 (think fish aquarium). These will help minimize the bacteria that causes root rot...For the people in the back: This is not going to magically protect your cuttings from root rot, but it will help to minimize it...and use it sparingly, do not attempt to use this charcoal by itself, that would be ridiculous. I'm sure someone will do exactly that and wonder why their plants died.

I like this charcoal because the pieces aren’t to big and aren’t to small. Don’t need a lot for a small terrarium if that’s what your into. The only con I have is I wish it came with a little more. But over all I would recommend.

What a teeny wincy small bag lol... I guess I wasn't reading it when I ordered it cuz I wasn't expecting the bag to be a little bit bigger than my hand lol But other than that it's good stuff. I add just a little bit in my plant soil...

I've recently learned that adding charcoal to my orchid potting mixture creates a better environment for the plant's roots. I bought this charcoal with that in mind and it was delivered as expected so I've added it to the mix. Now I just have to wait and see the orchids bloom!
