Mycodex Plus Environmental Control Aerosol Household Spray

This product works great, fleas were under control within 3 days. The only thing is cannot be used on wood floors. Unfortunately that meant some rooms could not be sprayed.

Very effective at getting rid of indoor flea problem (moderate severity) in the Midwest. Light smell - less intense & less chemically smell than Raid Flea Killer Plus Room & Carpet Spray. Do not yet know how well this product works on eliminating fleas long term as it's only been a couple of weeks. Dog had no problem using his dog bed after his bed was sprayed & aired.If you need a fine mist & are covering a small area (e.g., just pet bed/furniture), this spray nozzle could be better (Raid Flea Killer Plus nozzle allows for more even mist as per instructions). The sprayer of my first can was defective squirting splatters/gobs of foam randomly rather than a mist (e.g., splattering foam gobs onto the walls 10 inches away rather than the carpet even while can was pointed down at the ground). Had to get a 2nd can (the seller sent new can right away at no charge). I prefer the flea spray for covering carpets, rooms & pet furniture to the flea powder/granules as some people experience breathing issues from the fine airborne particles of the powder/granules long after vacuuming.

If you got a flea problem this stuff works great. I have two cats and a dog in my three bedroom apartment. I thought I had some sort of rash around my belly but discovered the dog had fleas. Gobs of them. You could see them crawling around her eyes. I cot some flea stuff from the vet for the critters. Then I cleared out each room one at a time and used about one can per room. It was a lot of work but the fleas were gone after that never to return. That was about 13 years three dogs and two cats ago. Some people, even at the vets, say good luck because of the six week egg to adult cycle but this stuff kills the eggs. The fleas were even under the covers of my bed. I had to wash all my clothes and linens, then spray each room but it worked.

My daughter has moved into an older home that is a rental. She and her roommate have 2 dogs. This spring has been unusually warm and it appears that the dogs may have fleas.After vaccuuming, applying flea protection to the dogs, and spraying the carpet and furniture with Mycodex, the fleas seem to be gone. One can did cover the square footage that was listed on the can.Time will tell how effective everything has worked but the itching and scratching are gone and everyone seems much healthier!

We had a problem with Fleas last summer, and although our cats are treated with Advantage, our one cat is very skittish and HATES being held down for it, so it is a bit hard for us to get it on her every month. We got this for precaution to make sure we don't get anymore fleas this summer. Neither of them go outside anymore because we aren't allowed to have outdoor cats where we live, but somehow last summer they still got them... I am crossing my fingers we won't have to deal with this again!! My step son is allergic to flea bites and we felt so bad that his legs were getting bit!

Though the Mycodex works pretty well,I don't think that it is worth buying and paying a shipping cost of almost 50% of the product price. If the groomer who reccommended it to me carried it at list price,I would continue to use it exclusively.But,there are similar products available at the chain Pet Stores and evn Wal Mart that wil do a similar job at a lesser price.

Mycodex Plus Environmental Control Aerosol Household Spray is amazing.The basement was full of fleas this year. One can sprayed onto the basement floor took care of the problem. Other products have been tried, as well as flea bombs having been set off. Nothing else seemed to work. This stuff is A Plus. Would definitely use again if ever there was a need.

I'm not really sure if this product works or not because it doesn't spray, it just clumped up foam, and then quit spraying altogether. I saw the same issue on some other reviews, so until they fix the design of their cans, I'd recommend going with a different product.
