I am still getting the hang of cooking this rice. The directions make for a soupier rice than I like so I am playing with the liquid content. Otherwise this rice is surprisingly delicious! I rinse it first to remove some off the starch and make it less gluey. The taste is slightly nutty and it stands up well to bolder spices. I really am loving this rice and the nutrient content makes it a definite keeper in my book!

I like this rice, it has a decent flavor and its kinda chewy. Wasn’t sure what to expect but i was looking for something a little healthier. Also seems a little more substantial than your average white rice. Goes great with homemade sauces/reductions!

This tastes so good. It took a long time to cook, close to 1hr, but it turned out so good, tasty and soft. Yummy

If you haven’t tried black rice, you need to order some and try it. It has its own flavor and it is delicious. Also, we have found some of the best comes from Italy, which is where this brand comes from. It’s definitely worth a try and if you do enjoy black rice, this is a good Selection.

My family liked this rice so much that I have been ordering larger packages. We had been looking for something with more food value than white rice and white pasta.

The first time I ordered, I was very pleased with the quality. The 2nd time it was not true black rice. Black rice does not puff open to reveal white inside.

I have tried this rice for the first time since hearing about this rice from my doctor and why is it so good. My wife has been eating this in a dish that she always orders from a place in Montana and it is always good. What makes this rice better is that fact that all the nutrients stay in the rice and it is not stripped away. Great for any dish.
