Best Sink for the Money
Love these Kraus sinks. I have now bought 4over 4 years for various houses and the quality for the money you spend is unmatched. They look beautiful installed with granite countertops. The quality is top notch, they are thick, don't scratch easily, and I have not had any problems with water spots. This specific size is huge, which makes washing dishes or doing anything in the sink super easy. Cannot recommend these enough!

A sink that rises to the top
Even with great reviews and high expectations, still impressed. I've had this sink 4 years, and I still love it. Looks fabulous with minimal upkeep. No dents, and I abuse it a bit. Hardly any scuffs, even from the grid. The sink drain is somewhat restrictive, but then again, I really don't want food going down there (no disposal, so wrong) so I just keep it cleaned out. Large temperature changes will produce a bit of a popping sound as the concavity flexes. But despite doing that to the sink on a regular basis, it shows no negative effects. With respect to other noises, it's a solid sink, so running water in it sounds soothing, rather than just loud. It tends to do a good job calming the water sound, rather than producing a cacophony. But that may have to do with the mount, counters, etc. (I have soapstone, undermount) It is deep. If you are short, that could be a problem, but that also depends on your counter height. For me, with 36" counters and 5' 10" height (and long arms) it is perfect. The grid on the bottom is a mixed blessing. Never had one before, and never tried this sink without. Maybe I'd like it more without the grid. While the grid helps in some ways (not sure what they are) the downside is that it gets dirty quickly, and is tedious to clean. I had a Delta Ashton faucet originally and no matter how I used it, the water stayed in the sink. My new Grohe is a bit more powerful and you can get some overspray, but I will probably reduce the pressure. Not a sink issue. What else can one say about such elegant simplicity? The thing with sinks is, you only think about them when they wrong you. And then you loathe them. I rarely think about this sink, except once in a while when I recall how unhappy I am with many of the original purchases of four years ago in my kitchen. The Kraus stays...

Perfect sink for my kitchen update
Love it!! I ordered this sink for a small kitchen update (new countertop, new sink, new faucet). I had Home Depot install the countertops, and as they departed from their measure visit they took this sink with them. The next time I saw it, it was fastened to the new countertops. I have been using this sink for over a week now. Here's why I love it: - Undermount option - HUGE capacity! Even my biggest, most-horrible-to-clean cookware fits in this sink - Not noisy (even with our powerful faucet) - Looks sharp and clean! No staining! - Disposal install was easy (maybe true of most/all sinks) - Again, this sink is ENORMOUS!! It easily doubled the quantity of dirty dishes we can let pile up before kitchen use is impeded. Since this sink replaced a much shallower one, I had a concern that it might be too deep for the existing plumbing. I didn't realize this until after I had given the sink to the Home Depot guys, but everything worked out - the sink was not too deep for the existing plumbing (in fact, it had about 1/2'' to spare). However, it might be wise to measure the sink depth in your own kitchen before purchasing this one just in case it's a tight fit for you. PS: When researching this sink, I think I saw another review with a mild complaint that the brand logo was off center on their sink. My sink's logo stamp came out perfectly centered. 4 MONTHS LATER: Still love it, and all the above is still true. This sink was a great purchase.

This is a well-made kitchen sink
I just replaced my 27 year old kitchen counters and kitchen sink. This sink is nice and deep, and it is fairly quiet when the water is running. It cleans up like a champ and doesn't seem to scratch easily. It seems well made and sturdy which are important qualities if you cook a lot/use your kitchen sink a lot like I do.

Fantastic sink for the price! Fits (just barely!) in 30" Kraftmaid sink base.
I wanted a big, sturdy sink for our kitchen remodel. The layout demanded a 30" sink base, this was the biggest sink that the description said fit a 30" base, so we took a chance on it. Our local Kraftmaid rep happened to be at our house to issue replacement doors, and we spoke with him about our sink plans. We were concerned about compromising the structural integrity of the sink, or voiding the manufacturer's excellent warranty. We would have to cut out part of the wood on the top of both sides to get the sink to fit. He said that in no way would it void Kraftmaid's warranty. The wood pieces we were cutting apparently are for attaching Formica to the top of the cabinet - they do not affect the structural integrity of the cabinet at all! There is enough room in the base to leave ~1" on either side of the sink, once the cut has been made. We were thrilled and ordered the Kraus that day. Our plumber was impressed with the quality of the sink. We got lucky with installation, we had less than 1/4" clearance for the drain pipe underneath because we had not anticipated such a deep sink and drain - definitely make sure your plumber has the spec sheet info for the depth of the drain so he allows enough room underneath for the drain rough-in. We are so glad we did! The sink is cavernous - we can stack a pile of dirty dishes on one side, and strain a pot of pasta into a full-sized colander on the other. Overall a beautiful, durable sink for an excellent price, comes with all the accessories, and fits into a 30" sink base - this was a home run in our reno and one of the few decisions we didn't agonize over or second-guess (once we knew it would fit!) We would have loved to support an American company (the Kraus is made in China), however we put chunks of our reno budget towards bigger ticket items made in the USA (appliances, cabinets, etc), and were happy to get a quality sink for a reasonable price.

Excellent Replacement, Easy to Install
Our old undermount sink was divided into two basins, each of which was too small to comfortably wash large items. Once I found out it was secured to the countertop with simple clips and silicone, it was a no-brainer to replace. This Kraus had the closest measurements while still being at a pretty attractive price (it also had curved corners, which seems a rarity). Undermount installation was shockingly easy: I had one helper hold the old sink as I undid the old clips, then I scraped the old adhesive away with a razor (learn from me, use glasses & a mask). Once cleaned with alcohol, I applied a new bead of silicone to the Kraus, and then Helper lifted it into place and did fine positioning while I secured the clips from underneath. I braced with some 2x4 pieces to help the clips while the adhesive cured. One last bead of silicone along the inner edge, and we were done. Two things merit knocking off a star: 1) While the outer dimensions are nearly perfect, the curve for each corner is very wide. Since I was working with an existing counter opening (it comes with a paper guide if you're making a fresh cut), it's not quite perfect. Still, this is minor and it's not like I was going to compare arc angles. No one will notice but me. 2) The sink trap assembly is VERY deep. The sink itself is 9" deep, but the trap goes down a further 4.5". This was a lot more than I planned for, so I had to get some specialty fittings in order to plumb it. Also, the outer cup of the drain assembly is plastic. I can't figure out how water won't eventually get trapped between this outer plastic cup and the the inner metal one - there's no gasket where they meet at the bottom. You could always get a different drain assembly, and I might end up switching it one day. All in all, I'm VERY happy with this sink. Time will tell if it scratches badly (I got the regular version), and I'll try to update this if it happens. For now, it looks great, doesn't sound like thunder when the tap is on, and feels very secure. Highly recommended with the small caveat that you might do better with a different drain.

I love this sink!
Huge upgrade from the double sink we had before. It fit right into the existing opening without any modification. The soundproofing made the garbage disposal much quieter. Itโs thick and sturdy. I didnโt think Iโd like the rack on the bottom, but itโs been really useful. It doesnโt scratch too easily and is easy to clean.

Nice quality.
Very nice quality, well packaged for shipping, arrived on time. The only thing I can say is that I wished it was a little more sloped towards the drain as water tends to stand in the bottom a bit.

Quality
Very happy with this sink. Very heavy duty, I didn't want the modern sinks that are square as too many people commenting that they are hard to clean and get into the corners. This is a quality large sink.

Fits perfect on my sink with existing cut of internal measurement 30-3/4โ x 17โ but so far after install there were spots of rusts already from splashes of water, not sure why and i keep cleaning them gently with water and they go away but they come back easily!
