BlochWomen's Respect Dance Shoe

Fit great and daughter loves them!

Bought a size 8 in both the Bloch Respect and Bloch Sync. Photo shows both in size 8 and how they are different in size. Sync runs small, Respect runs large. Both seem comfortable but Respect feels a little less stiff. I am going to try a size down in Respect.

I really can't complain. I purchased these Bloch Respect tap shoes here at Amazon "like new" for a quarter of Amazon's present retail price. While the leather is not soft and supple like that of my Capezio Flex Master tap shoes, these Bloch shoes are obviously of quality. The hard soles are a nice option as I continue on my tap dance journey and the taps, themselves, have a pleasant sound.That being said, this pair fits me as a street shoe size would--as in, they are too big. I am a 7-7.5 in street shoes (sometimes, perhaps, even a 6.5) and these shoes in 8 are definitely not my size. I do not mind the extra room in the toe box for my toes to splay but, even with the addition of adhesive heel pads, the shoes feel a bit large. They are wearable for me, yes, but in my case "sizing up" did not help them to fit me any better.Yet--if I hadn't sized up, I might not have found $25 Bloch tap shoes "like new". So, like I said at the beginning of this review, I really cannot complain.

Great tap shoe. Soft comfortable leather. I am a 7.5 or 8 street shoe and the 8 is a perfect fit. I would have given 5 stars but I tried the 8.5 and the 7.5 first because for some reason they were $35.00 cheaper than the size 8. It felt like I was paying $35.00 because the 8 is the most popular size? I almost did not buy them because of it but I could tell they are a nice tap shoe. I have been tapping for 6 months and the Capizio's I started in are ripping and do not have a good sound. I am excited to try these for a Summer Tap Workshop class.

I highly recommend these shoes to anyone considering them.I haven't worn tap shoes in many years and opted to try these.After reading through many reviews, I decided to order a half size larger than my usual 10.5 womens. They fit beautifully with some room to add thicker socks if I want, but totally not necessary.They look great and the taps sound wonderful.Good luck!

This shoe is excellent to tap in! It is loud in sound and the rubber pads are great for providing stability when turning. My street shoe is a 7.5-8, but got these in an 8 because I had a wide foot. They fit perfectly. With the full sole, it gives great arch support and the leather is nice quality. I've been tapping for decades, broke an ankle a few years ago, and this shoe is the best full sole shoe I've tried in the market recently. It's worth the extra $30 investment compared to less expensive Bloch and Capezio mid-line tap shoes. I only wish the laces were a little longer, but that is an easy fix.

They look nice, but I can’t determine the fit as they didn’t come with laces…

I buy size 8 in Capezio for my daughter, and figured I would get the same in these. Mistake. These are easily 1/2 size bigger than the size 8 in Capezio. They seem well made though and I will definitely keep them on hand for when her feet are a bit bigger.

It is the most comfortable and greatest sounding shoe I've ever danced in. I found a narrow 7.5 on sale and if it wasn't for it being narrow it would be perfect. Other Bloch shoes I have to go up a fulll size but this one is your actual size. Don't size up!

No blisters so far. Good sound. Screws seem to come loose often so keep a screw driver on you
