Works like it should
I got this PDR kit for pulling dents…paint less or otherwise. In the course of doing a couple of motorcycle restorations I’d searched for a dent removal tool/method that a) didn’t break my bank account b) had a stout pulling device and c) left me multiple options for removing dents. This kit fit all 3 of my requirements. Not only that but it really does work. The tank I’m currently working had 3 different type and size dents. 1 was really deep, the metal had stretched and clearly paintless removal was not in the cards. 1 looked like a good candidate for PDR and the last one was deep enough to crack the paint around the perimeter but not so deep that the metal was stretched. For the really deep one I welded bolts of the same thread as the PDR “sticks” on the dent. It took several pulls but I worked the dent out to the point that it now only has some low spots that a tad bit of filler will smooth out. So, the puller part is beefy enough that even pulling on welded bolts it did not flex nor break. The dent that looked a prime candidate for PDR, I used the black glue sticks that came with the kit and a football shaped stick that fit nicely in the dent. After 2 pulls, the dent was mostly out. A 3rd pull using one of the bolts I’d bought for dent #1 with the black glue and presto, completely out. If the tank did not require paint due to dent #1 & dent #3 the dent came out so perfectly a simple buff & wax would all that’s required.I’ve started on dent #3 and just using the included sticks and the black glue the dent is coming out. Only did 4 pulls so far but some of the deepest stuff is pulled out significantly. Because it’s been able to successfully tackle all 3 types & sizes of dents I gotta give this tool 5 stars over all.The glue sticks included seem to work pretty well on the less significant dents. Something like minor hail damage on a roof, hood or trunk lid could be tackled successfully with this tool, no paint required.Oddly, sometimes the puller sticks will pop right off without doing anything and under very little force. As such I could only give the kit 4 stars for “suction”. It’s strange because the very next pull will do exactly what you want using the exact same glue & puller stick. The only low mark I give this kit is ease of clean up. Not just the work but the tool as well. Using the black glue sticks, it’s a royal pain to get the leftover glue off the work. Same is true for the puller “sticks” as the plastic ends get clogged with glue which does not come off easily. It will clean up eventually but not without considerable effort.Overall though, it does what it is intended to do which is remove dents. It requires little effort to actually pull less significant dents but will pull larger ones also. Definitely worth the price for how much it can do.

Glue does not stick to the suction cups
I tried to use the kit to pull out a dent on my car. The glue did not hold at all. It sticks to the car but does nothing for the dents. Tried it 8x's and when trying to pull the dent out with the suction cup pull handle it just immediately pulled off of the dent without moving the dent whatsoever. Then trying to get the glue off of the panel of the vehicle was extremely difficult. WASTE of both time and money.

This actually works—mostly
I hit some stupid parking lot thing and put a three inch dent into the right from fender of my Tesla Y. Stupid proprietary issues made it a $5k repair, but I’m preparing to sell the car so not putting $5k in it. My mechanical engineer son ordered this kit. I confess I was dubious but in fact it works. It’s not a five1mi it’s slam dunk, but it actually works. The seller could provide additional tips such as positioning the bar to best get out the dent, and maybe they would do so if you had time to ask. What I’ve learned is that it takes several applications of the “tab” with hot glue to get out the dent. I have had the best luck with applying a tab w hot glue, hold it ten seconds, then 3-5’ later apply the bridge and start to screw down to pop out that section of the dent. Do a quarter turn then wait 3+ minutes. It seems to give the body material a minute to move into the new position. Rinse and repeat, for those old enough to remember the slogan. It requires time and patience ce but little else. The glue is astonishingly easy to remove w rubbing alcohol. To clean the tabs, drop them in a shallow glass of alcohol and the glue comes off readily. Note: I have only used the clear sticks. Reviews of the black glue sticks were enough to make me avoid them.Update: after a lot of time and effort, I got a big improvement in my dent. However today (Day 3), the tab started popping off after minimal turns of the central screw. Still working in the shade in my garage, max 80 degrees. The manufacturer has a good product but they put no contact info in brochure beyond a phone number in China. They could/should provide additional info as there must be tricks as to the orientation of the outer contact points with respect to the car body. I’m very happy overall, but I feel I could have had a better outcome w a little guidance.

A woman pulling dents
The wind blew a basketball hoop down and it landed on my 2017 Honda Civic. I worked on pulling the dents out on 2 days. Spent about an hour and half on each day. I used the translucent glue since that is what they recommend for my car. I did find it easier to use on a nice warm day since the second time I used it it was overcast and kinda windy. The glue probably got cool too fast from the wind. I thought the area I was working on was going to be hard but the puller can be adjusted to fit different angles. When I would start turning to lift the dent I did it slow and kept feeling around the dent to see if it was flush and not over pull it. I really am happy I tried this myself.

Don't let the glue dry too long
Bought this after watching a youtube video and decided to give it a shot. Used it on some small dings in my car and while it did mostly work, I found the adapters to be a bit large for my application - i.e. it removed some of the ding but not all of it. Of course, I'm not a pro so much of that could also be operator error. Finally, don't allow the glue dry too long before you attempt to pull. I waiting a few minutes on one attempt and had to get a heat gun and re-melt the glue it to get it off. I found I only needed to let it set for about 30 - 45 seconds before pulling but I'm sure environmental factors played a role so your experience may be different.
