Review: Worth the Price! - I have owned many project bags in my needlepoint "career" but this is by far the best. While not designed to hold large canvases, it holds everything else: scissors, threads, needlepoint and cross stitch tools, smaller canvases, books (smaller paperbacks), your phone, various sewing gadgets, stitch guides, and most things you might want to keep handy when sewing or crafting. I love the different sized pouches for both large and small items. The color I chose (purple) is rich and vibrant. Every part of this bag is beautifully made and very sturdy. The handles are long enough to place it over my shoulder, leaving my hands free to carry other items if needed. Love the double zipper, too. I plan to embroider my name on it because I will be using it for many years to come! My husband and I went on a long cruise and having this along with me really made the trip even more fun. Everyone who saw me using it wanted to know where I got it! It's not the cheapest bag but I can honestly say the price is worth it for what you get. Highly recommend!

**Q: Is the strap long enough to carry the bag on your shoulder?**
A: Yes it sure is.

**Q: Are the inner pockets removable?**
A: No the inner pockets are not removable.  Great bag!

**Q: Are the sleeves inside removable?**
A: The sleeves are not removable.  It’s a great bag.

**Q: Does this bag have room to put a mini cutting mat? A pocket to slip it into?**
A: If your mini cutting mat is smaller than the overall dimensions of the bag, you can store it loosely inside the bag.  The largest interior zippered pocket could fit a mat sized no larger than 7 3/4" x 11".  The other alternative is to store a mat in the exterior pocket, but obviously you would not be able to zip it.  The widest rigid object that would fit in the exterior pocket could be no wider than 11 1/4", although I was able to barely insert my Olfa 11 x 17 mat which is flexible into the exterior pocket.  The 11 x 17 mat measures out at 11 3/4" x 17 3/4" and extends well above the top of the bag.  Even with the mat in the exterior pocket, the bag is still easily carried by the handles.  Hope that helps.  You should also check out the Yazzii CA120 bag.  Really nice!

I have owned many project bags in my needlepoint "career" but this is by far the best. While not designed to hold large canvases, it holds everything else: scissors, threads, needlepoint and cross stitch tools, smaller canvases, books (smaller paperbacks), your phone, various sewing gadgets, stitch guides, and most things you might want to keep handy when sewing or crafting. I love the different sized pouches for both large and small items. The color I chose (purple) is rich and vibrant. Every part of this bag is beautifully made and very sturdy. The handles are long enough to place it over my shoulder, leaving my hands free to carry other items if needed. Love the double zipper, too. I bought this for some embroidery projects and still haven't loved it - the "pages" don't seem to fit the items I want to put in them very well and they are awkward for me to use...they have a mind of their own whether they want to stay open (or not!) and I haven't been able to organize tools, projects/thread in pockets that seem logical to me yet...I may learn to love it as I have projects still to do, but for the $$ I spent, I could have been happier with the purchase
