VuPoint Portable Magic Wand Scanner Rechargeable Battery (Black w/SD Card)

This product saves well to itself, but the app will not load any images and often stops on its own. Have not tried it with the computer. Bought this to scan documents to my phone and email to my boss. I am a truck driver so wifi isn't always available for me to use my computer to send emails. If I don't send the documents I don't get paid. I'm very disappointed.

The software to run it was very old. Windows vista I think.

It works great. Need to use something press the end against to keep it straight when you are old like me and my hand wiggles. It seems to smooth out my mistakes. Should have thought a little before paying extra for the wi-fi part. With the micro SD card upgrade that is cheep on Amazon it is real easy to transfer a lot of documents or folders fast and not worry about wi-fi. But if you need it is surely is there.

The most inefficient scanner I would say. I ended up buying another brand which is much easier to use and makes much more sense. You can try this product but will get disappointed.

I'm using my scanner to document the history of our high school's football program. Just finished scanning from a bound volume of original newspapers at our city library. I scanned all the article on the 1935 team. It did an awesome job on both the text and pictures. Nice dealing with newspapers rather than microfilm and in about half the time. I take my scans home and then print the ones I want for a scrapbook on each team, plus I have a digital record for sharing or backing up my work.
