So far, this is a pretty beefy C-Stand. I've never owned or used one prior to this; only numerous microphone stands. I was not disappointed at all. It came packed with a nicely padded travel bag to make everything convenient. The boom arm is not flimsy at all. My only suggestion would be to add maybe two screw-on balls to the ends when not in use. It does come with screw on caps to fit the threading but when moving around quite a bit, it would help protect the eyes. Other than that, I have no issue recommending this product. I does what it lists and the price is better than spending $250-$500. No plated finish rubbing off.

The light stand is easy to put together and very sturdy. The carrying case is great to have for different locations. Will use with large umbrellas / soft boxes.

A very nice, solid stand. Not overly heavy, stable, easy to setup and holds an amaran COB 200x with attached softbox without any issues. My one complaints is the included accessories. The "sandbag" is extremely cheap. I haven't had to use it just yet but I would be lirious to put anything in it without feeling like it wouldn't hold up. The included tension clips are just ok. I accidentally let go of one will I had it squeeze open and the tension from it when it snapped closed caused it to break. So while the clips are nice to have they ultimately won't last long. But for the price and what I needed I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good budget stand.

Assembly was not difficult. The legs are sturdy. The reel holding the cross bar is really high quality. Once I added my 42” octa with 2 speed light flashes + (magmod) ring holder, I tightened the reel just a bit more. The boom arm remained exactly where I placed it. I added my sandbag to the feet for safety & stability. The carrying case seems adequate.

Great stand

I used this C-Stand with boom arm for several photography sessions in studio and semi-outdoor conditions. Overall, the sturdiness is very good for the price and size.
