The HP Laserjet Pro 3001dw printer was very easy to set up for home use. It only came with a power cable, and I did not need any additional cable to get started. I simply plugged it in, turned it on, made sure the wireless function and my home Wi-Fi were on, then went to hpsmart.com/setup on my laptop and followed the instructions. The setup required my Wi-Fi password, but after that, everything worked smoothly. Everyone in the house on the same Wi-Fi can print from a mobile device or computer. It is a black-and-white printer and it can print double-sided, which works well for me.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRINTER if you are looking for a reliable, wifi-friendly printer that will sit in the background, ready to print on your home network. BUY IT if you are willing to place it near your computer, and connect it directly to your computer via an ethernet / usb cable The wireless printing will work for about 2 days, and then it will stop. Then, you will have to try and re-connect it to your network, which will take several hours, and it just won't connect. It will drive you crazy, and you WILL want to swing a baseball bat at it. I am in a Mac environment -- Mac Silicon, Mac Laptop, iPhones. The ONLY way I can get it to work is to have it connected to my silicon Mac, via ethernet cable. All print jobs must be done through THAT computer. Full stop. The. black and white printing looks good, though lol

Took a bit to get the printer set up, but it works great. The main problems were the distance between the computer and the printer and the weak Wi-Fi signal. Once I solved the problems, everything started working great. The problems are not always with the new product. Take your time and think the problem through. This printer is very fast and the only one that I have been able to set up and print from my Android phone wirelessly

This printer is pretty quick print. Does duplex printing so that is a plus. Small yet effecient.

This printer is great in every aspect except it won’t stay connected to mesh Wi-Fi. Mesh is the newest system out there so many people are going to eventually upgrade to this form of Wi-Fi router. Every time I use the printer, I need to turn it on and then the PC or the laptop will print fine. But if I leave the printer on - the green Wi-Fi light starts to blink and it’s off-line again. I suggest if you have a new router to get a printer that can connect in the 5 MHz band. I can still use this printer, but I have to turn it on every time I print.

A year later and it hasn't let me down yet! If you don't NEED coloured printing, this saves so much more money than your standard inkjet printers. I tutor kids, so I print quite a bit, but intermittently. So I can actually print 1000 pages over months and not have to pay $50 every single month because ink dried out. I've changed the cartridge only once over the last year and a bit for only $33 and basically printed two textbook worth of materials. I've even used thicker papers for art projects and it handled it just fine. I had some trouble re-connecting the printer to a new wi-fi when I moved, but it works fine while plugged directly into the router, so I didn't take the trouble to figure it out.

Very easy to set up; took about 15 minutes to set up to two laptops and two phones. Works really well.

I purchased the HP LaserJet Pro 3001dw specifically because it was advertised as supporting automatic duplex printing. My primary need was A5 duplex printing, which the product appeared to support — the paper tray is even marked for A5. However, after setting up the printer, I discovered that it cannot perform duplex printing on A5 paper at all. This makes the printer completely unsuitable for the purpose I bought it for. I contacted HP support several times through the hotline, but each time the outcome was a failure — no fix, no workaround, and no refund offered. This is extremely disappointing from a company of HP’s reputation. If you need duplex printing on A5, be warned: this printer will not deliver what is promised. Misleading specifications and poor customer support have made this a frustrating and regrettable purchase.

Je suis plus que satisfaite de cette imprimante. Je l'ai branchée avec le cable usb de mon ancienne HP sur mon laptop. Donc je peux utiliser avec le wifi ou sans le wifi si j'utilise mon laptop. Imprime rapidement. J'ai imprimé en recto verso (économie de papiers). Facile à installer. (Je n'ai eu qu'à suivre les directives.) Je vous recommende de faire les mises à jour régulièrement via l'application.
